Angry and alone

Angry and alone

Hi. I know I should write some sort of intro but just don't really know what there is to say.

I'm feeling angry and alone and like there's no one who cares.

Re: Angry and alone

Well you tagged this time @TheVorticon woohoo lol

Maybe you could swing by TOR and make a lego tumbleweed mate - that would be super cool - but I would need photos (goodluck in finding a photo/image of that @TheVorticon) - challenge on....

You really don't have to get used to it - I do reply when tagged but not as much when it is a general post - too much reading can send one cross-eyed lol - so tag me in whenever - but just a heads-up - I'll be checking in on you regularly anyway - so when you start getting sick of me tell me to 'bugger off'!!!!

Re: Angry and alone

I rarely tag anyone when I'm super struggling either @TheVorticon. Like you, I don't feel right tagging people and thus putting some sort of expectation on them to respond. Having said that, I'm totally ok with you tagging me. The only notifications I receive are if someone tags me or "likes" a post of mine. I don't subscribe to any threads at all. Thus I tend to drift in and out of conversations a bit. I just couldn't cope with the notifications - it totally did my head in! So, the moral to the story is TAG ME!

Re: Angry and alone

Arrrgh it's so hard to get the courage/strength/whatever to post a reach out kind of post and then sit waiting (if this is what happened @TheVorticon).

I struggle with the whole tagging into my messy posts things, unless they're messy replies to someone. I so appreciate it when someone catches one of my posts and replies for this reason, which is exactly what you did for me in the nest earlier.

I'm putting my hand up as another someone who is saying it is totally ok to tag me in a post too. I think you're super cool thevorticon, and I see how much support you give here and feel sad thinking you may miss out on getting that for yourself sometimes.

I wish there was a not so cutesy or fluffy or pink emoji to add to my replies to you though. I throw these around a lot 💛💗 but they don't seem to fit here (wonder why?! 🤔).

Maybe this one could be my one to add for you 😎 (kind of like a stay cool, thinking of you thing)?

Re: Angry and alone

Thanks everyone (not tagging cause I'm on my phone and it would take forever to type 😛 )
Today I'm ok and not ok so I guess I'll see where that ends up. Way fewer tears (uh, I mean none cause I don't cry, right? 😛 ) but more negative thoughts and sense of "ugh I don't want to do xyz it's too hard and I'm a failure" so I dunno.

Re: Angry and alone

Well first of all @TheVorticon fewer (not) tears is a good start but you can tell those negative thoughts to 'bugger off'. You are 100% NOT a failure - how is the skateboarding going btw? What have you got planned for the rest of the day. I just raked up the leaves and now I am totally exhausted - so it looks like a nap on the couch won't be too far away lol

Re: Angry and alone

@TheVorticon - I'm learning how to be ok and not ok at the same time at the moment. I'm finding it seriously exhausting! Are you? At least being one or the other feels like I kind of know where I stand, whereas this is just like a messy, muddle my way through it, mot sure what will happen, kind of thing.

Totally get the whole don't want to do it, it's too hard, too.

Hope today ends up more on the ok than not ok side for you.

😎 😉

Re: Angry and alone

Yeah I dunno @Zoe7 I'm just trying to ignore the thoughts at the moment.
Haven't done any skating since Saturday morning due to one thing or another, mostly motivation-wise. Still at work for rest of the afternoon. Currently am mid disagreement with the boss. Not sure what I'll be doing tonight - pokemon, skating or sulking probably.
good work with the leaves. Did Toby help at all? 😉 Hope your nap is good.

Re: Angry and alone

Toby is a good boy and prefers to take up the Supervisor role when I am in the garden @TheVorticon Painting is another story altogether - the little white fluffball has been known to turn some rather dark shades of grey when I have painted the fence or garden borders - so hard to wach out but at least it is water-based paint

If you are going to 'sulk' tonight then jump on here and I'll have a sulk with you (or a silent cry!!!) - feeling a bit low atm - I did too much (as usual) and am exhausted now. If you do go out catching pokemons or skating I want details

Re: Angry and alone

Hey @CheerBear thanks for your message. I couldn't keep replying on my phone at work but did get to read it.

I actually prefer ok + not-ok compared to mostly not ok. I can deal with that easier. But it sounds like you've got too much not-ok on your seesaw at the moment which sucks. Hopefully some of the not-ok jumps right off soon.

Haha @Zoe7 well I'm glad Toby helped supervise rather than get leaves through his fur today. Hope you managed to get some rest and pick your mood up a bit.

Re: Angry and alone

@TheVorticon I think Toby is still recovering from his rather large decorating job yesterday - where the contents of the rubbish were 'not so nicely' thrown around the house because his silly mummy left the bag by the door and forgot to put it in the bin arghhhhh
