Something’s not right

I am riding a wave.

I am riding a wave.

Hi,

My brain is flooded with giant feelings of hopelessness and I am riding a wave of suicidal ideation. I know it is just a wave and I know it will pass. I don't need any advice or suggestions...I just need someone to sit with me while I ride the wave. When my brain is this flooded pretty much ANYTHING that anyone says will further escalate the big feelings...but at the same time, it helps to know there is someone sitting with me. So...I'm just going to curl up in this corner of the forum and wait for someone to come and sit beside me while the wave crashes over me.

Totally get that @Phoenix_Rising - no feelings hurt here

I'll just sit on the rocks and watch you ride the waves so you are not alone!

Thank you. You can even ride alongside me...just don't touch me

@Phoenix_Rising It might be safer for me on the rocks! Not the best swimmer these days - you'd probably have to save me

Hey there, @Phoenix_Rising 🙂

I am simply a very huggy person, that's me, but I have a daughter just like you, so yes, totally understand, and no hurt feelings at all 😉

I'll just sit on the rocks with Zoe 😄 😄 😄

....can't help it, I'm huggy, so....I'll just send the caring warmth with no touchies :D:D:D 😉

@BlueBells Huggy people are very strange...unlike the amazingly emotionally hypersensitive aspie with BPD who of course is the epitomy of adaptive human functioning Well next time I am riding a wave (and it's a pretty sure bet that there will be a next time), I'll know to look at the rocks along the shore of the ocean and see you hugging @Zoe7 while you send warm no touchy vibes my way

Today sounds like a tough one @Phoenix_Rising - you did really well to get through to calmer seas 🙂

Re: I am riding a wave.

@Phoenix_Rising 🙂 that is really sweet 😉 @Zoe7 and I will keep our eyes open for you 😉

Strange, well, I have to agree with that one hahahaha 😄 😄 However, I can go swinging all over the place, depths of down, sparkly happy, and any and every where between.

I don't ride the waves too well, they just tumble me under 😞 Just now, the waters are calm, no wind for the sails, so drifting. Feels ...... weird.

Oh, the huggy side of me has been well hidden for a few decades, and starting to break out again now and then 😉

Lots of smiles, and sitting at one and a half arms length 😄 😄 😄 😄

"emotionally hypersensitive aspie with BPD who of course is the epitomy of adaptive human functioning"

Phoenix to beat all of this you have to stop using it as a 'label'. I used to have autism, it's a list of negative symptoms as defined by the medical community. It's a weakened MTHFR gene leading to poor methylation (adrenal system - reward sensation, heart strength, adrenaline, focus, acid/alkaline balance aka aldosterone), and it also leads to gut problems, neurotoxins, confusion, mental/social aspiration problems, peripheral neuropathy (sensitive skin), poor metal detox. I can list all the neurotoxins the chemical pathways, everything...

The best foods I've found are just bananas and raisins, and cranberries/eggs right before a meal. Lots of green food (folate).. or some people take the metafolin (methylised folate) supplement which directly targets the MTHFR gene. There is also lemon liver detox, and not snacking - just 'square meals' to give your gut a break.

You have to do something otherwise its a constant loop of ups & downs and confusion. Nothing ever changes.

People who tell you to be proud of a negative condition / set back are masochists.

@SGde3a Hi 🙂

I know a person who has recently been diagnosed with depression.

He really waves it around like a flag, as if it excuses the abusive way he treats his wife and others. I don't think he's depressed, just a mongrel 😞 You know, the spoilt brat kids who never grow up?
