I am riding a wave.

Hi,

My brain is flooded with giant feelings of hopelessness and I am riding a wave of suicidal ideation. I know it is just a wave and I know it will pass. I don't need any advice or suggestions...I just need someone to sit with me while I ride the wave. When my brain is this flooded pretty much ANYTHING that anyone says will further escalate the big feelings...but at the same time, it helps to know there is someone sitting with me. So...I'm just going to curl up in this corner of the forum and wait for someone to come and sit beside me while the wave crashes over me.

Was he waving it around like a flag or was it more like "sorry everyone, please ignore".. it doesnt do any good to react and hate on him again if he's already depressed.. just wait until the tone returns to a stable level then communicate again...

Hi @SGde3a 🙂

What I mean is, his attitude is that he's proud that he has a "reason" to excuse his behaviour. I am not "hating on him", believe me.

He displays no sign of depression. He does display a very controlling and bullying nature, and has never been any different.

I've known him for decades. I understand where you are coming from, but no, different situation here 😉
