@NightFury Sounds like the person on the phone call doesn't quite understand the feeling of overwhelm in going through the steps. We know you're making progress, we know you're doing well and doing what you can do. I hope your GP also understands this and supports you in this process. Was it you or @MissGremlin who had a team of people helping them call around to the various psychs to find one that was both suitable and available? I'm wondering how that has gone, if they have had any success?
@MissGremlin It can be so hard to know without trying - and trying is ok! Of course we look for things that "feel right" -- as we should, we need relief from the pain and distress. As @NightFury said, maybe now just isn't the right time for you, and that's OK also. I wonder if it could be framed as just the "trial didn't work out", or it was a "friend for a week" visit for the dogs? I don't think the dogs would say they would have preferred to never have had that time together, even if it was limited.
Hoping you both have a lovely virtual cuppa 😊. I had a cold-chocolate milk (which of course didn't disolve the choc powder properly) at time just before. Didn't feel like going out to the cafe with my friends. But in hindsight I wish I had instead gone by myself to the local cafe to get out of the house and have a treat and buy some carrots to munch on. Cafes are closed now though, oh well.
