Managing thoughts of suicide & self-harm

Battles

Battles

Hi all, does anyone else just feel like life is just one big sh!t show? It's just one thing after another, constant drama, family issues, money struggles, stress, anxiety it's just always something.

When do things get easier, do things ever change?

I've been through more than i care to think about in my life but today has pushed me to breaking point and it's bringing up alot of bad memories of previous suicide attempts.

I just feel like it's not worth it, it's not worth fighting, not worth hanging on anymore.

Oh @MissGremlin I'm sorry that it hasn't worked out the way you were hoping it would with Stella. That's soso tough. Doing what's best is sometimes the hardest thing to do.

Morning @AlwaysMyself

I'm going to take Luna for a walk around the block too. Though, even she seems a bit out of sorts over the last couple of days. I'm hoping some exercise helps us both feel even 1% better.

Re: Battles

@MissGremlin i know that decision won't have come easily. *big hugs*

I find puppies exhausting. I don't cope well with the first 12 months of it. I've done it twice (once a guide dog puppy, once my current female dog); my current male dog was 8 months old when i got him and a lot easier even though he was scared and not lived in houses until 2 months prior (when rescued).

@NightFury she's a beautiful girl and I do love her so much. But my mental health is really up sh!t creek, Casper can't do his job as my assistance dog properly cos she also wants to be close to me. There's just alot of things and it's all so hard 😞.

Re: Battles

Thankyou @AlwaysMyself and it really hasn't.

It's not even the puppy stage thats the issue, she's a calm and gentle girl. It's mostly just me and my problems, yes it's me that's the issue as usual. Casper was such an easy going puppy and by far the easiest dog I've had. I've weighed everything up and I've gone through it over and over again. I've spoken to a couple of people about it aswell and they know it's not an easy decision but more so the right one.

Re: Battles

Maybe it's just bad timing? @MissGremlin it's hard to let go of furr babies, even if it is for what you feel are the right reasons.

Re: Battles

@NightFury maybe so. It's also the financial worry about it. There's just so many things.

When will it happen? @MissGremlin

Re: Battles

@NightFury I'm not sure. I rang the lady this morning and she's going to make the necessary contacts and then let me know.
