My day has been pretty quiet. Trying my best to get a few things done... somewhat successfully. My new socks arrive today! I got the from an ANZUP (Australian and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate Cancer Trials Group) fundraiser they are currently running. It's a great cause and they make me laugh. Here's a photo of me wearing one of the pairs.

Luna even likes them. And yes they are bums! 🤣 The other pair was balls! I didn't got for the willie ones. I should have though, they still make me laugh the most.

It's great to hear you're feeling better this afternoon. Definitely enjoy it. It must be such a nice change of pace. Let hope it sticks around for as long as possible.

@MJG017 hehe love the socks, I'm wearing ducky ones today. I might have to order some of those ones, at least it's supporting a good cause 😊.

Glad Luna approves of them. You know you totally have to get the ones with the willies on them 😂.

It's definitely a nice change of pace at the moment. Just not even sure why the mood shift but I'll take it.

On another note, why does it have to be so cold. I'm so not ready for winter, like I enjoy the weather not being so hot but also not wanting to turn into an icicle 😂

Thanks @AuntGlow, it's honestly really hard for me to accept feeling any sort of happiness cos usually everytime I do it's ripped away from me. But right now I'm just enjoying the moment. The only fear is knowing at some stage it will all come crashing down and that happens so fast and without warning.

I did enjoy my iced coffee, although I'm a bit annoyed that they discontinue my favourite one every year just before winter but then bring it back out at summer time. There's 3 flavours being salted caramel, iced cappuccino and then my favourite the vanilla one. So I have 6 sachets left of my vanilla one and I'm trying to make them last while having to force myself to drink the other ones 😂.

I definitely needed that rest day today, but I did some things around the house when I got back home so the whole day wasn't wasted.

He really is such a sweet boy and makes my heart melt. I very much enjoyed snuggling with him on the lounge today 😊

@Jynx i have my hungry hungry hippo pjs on 😊. My oodie dressing gown is galaxy themed and I'll be putting that on when I sit on my bed.

Awww cute @Jynx, yes they are great for being able to bury yourself in. I love hiding in mine 😊.

I've got my pjs and my oodie dressing gown on and I'm still shaking and my fingertips are blue. It's a little bit chilly.

Love your socks

At the end of my second cancer radiotherapy I bought 100 pairs of socks for all the staff in radiation oncology department. Nurses, Drs, admin, radiation therapists etc. I had boob ones for breast cancer mainly but also some with balls for testicular, vulvas for gynaecological cancer, penises for penile cancer and the prostate ones. So a few charities got money out of that - cost me quite a bit, but I was working at the time.
