Managing thoughts of suicide & self-harm

Battles

Battles

Hi all, does anyone else just feel like life is just one big sh!t show? It's just one thing after another, constant drama, family issues, money struggles, stress, anxiety it's just always something.

When do things get easier, do things ever change?

I've been through more than i care to think about in my life but today has pushed me to breaking point and it's bringing up alot of bad memories of previous suicide attempts.

I just feel like it's not worth it, it's not worth fighting, not worth hanging on anymore.

Re: Battles

Hi @MissGremlin I hope the iced coffee tastes good, I know those days when nothing appears to be going our way, sometimes just sitting and having something good to drink is the only thing that you can do and just take a breath -you did well to get through the morning.

Re: Battles

Hello @Tolly, I've had a sip of my iced coffee so far but yes it's good. My mind is going a million miles an hour at the moment. I feel like the morning is a big blur now.

Re: Battles

@MissGremlin no wonder your mind is going so fast there was a lot to get through this morning and still probably processing it all.

Re: Battles

@Tolly i struggle with processing everything that happens, it seems to be too much at once and my brain just gets overloaded.

Anyway i did my dishes and I've grabbed my diamond art so we'll see how we go.

Re: Battles

@MissGremlin oh that's not good. Cars, they can be so frustrating! I had to get the RAC out when my car died in the car park at the shopping centre. It was an expensive trip, new battery plus told I had 2 bald tyres. I was fortunate that I had the money at the time.

I am struggling to do anything at the moment, plus I'm pretty sure I am suffering from diverticulitis - I know the symptoms now. I have to find a GP ASAP.

I hope the week improves for you beautiful, hugs and loves xoxo

Hi @MissGremlin

this sounds like the best plan, and I can picture you now working on your diamond art and allowing yourself some time away from thinking about everything and just immerse yourself in a calming creative activity, you are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Battles

@ENKELI cars are so frustrating. There's so much wrong with mine but I can't afford to fix it, but cos I can't fix it more things are going wrong. It's honestly impossible to afford anything these days.

Oh sweet, it sounds so tough for you at the moment. Finding a gp is definitely a good idea. Sending you lots of love and hugs beautiful ❤️.

Re: Battles

@Tolly hoping it helps to just focus on something else for a bit.

Thankyou ☺️.

Re: Battles

Hi @MissGremlin absolutely right there- sometimes that shift of focus brings us some relief from our thoughts.

Re: Battles

@Tolly unfortunately I'm not even able to focus on it. So then I thought ok maybe time to reach out to a crisis service but nope can't get through on chat. (I'm safe for now). I'm going to try to nap, need to just switch everything off for a while.
