Managing thoughts of suicide & self-harm

Battles

Battles

Hi all, does anyone else just feel like life is just one big sh!t show? It's just one thing after another, constant drama, family issues, money struggles, stress, anxiety it's just always something.

When do things get easier, do things ever change?

I've been through more than i care to think about in my life but today has pushed me to breaking point and it's bringing up alot of bad memories of previous suicide attempts.

I just feel like it's not worth it, it's not worth fighting, not worth hanging on anymore.

Re: Battles

@Captain24 thankyou sweet ❤️.

One person went past just as I left my house, i didn't even know they lived that close to me. The other beeped at me in their car as they went past so it made me jump, but it was just my friends dad so not a big deal. Just those unexpected things that make me feel uncomfortable though.

I'm supposed to be doing my bedtime routine but I'm half laying on my bed and trying to find the motivation to move 😂.

Re: Battles

At least you knew them but didn’t have to stop and chat. I don’t like it when I’m walking the dogs and random strangers chat to me. When I walk them it’s usually out here but people still talk. @MissGremlin

Just take your time. Do what you can when you can.

Re: Battles

@Captain24 thankfully I didn't pass anyone on my walk tonight so avoided any interactions.

I did my routine but don't remember doing it if that makes sense, I don't know, I'm feeling a bit like I'm not in my body (I'm safe). I've just sat in my bed but getting worked up as the kid next door is on her trampoline so all I can hear is the squeaking of the springs every time she jumps.

How are you feeling sweet?

Re: Battles

That’s a good thing. I don’t like small talk. @MissGremlin

That doesn’t sound make a lot of sense to me. I’ve had things like that happen.

That’s so annoying. The squeals and the squeaks. It would irritate me as much as the kids banging in the fence and the dogs barking constantly! I feel your pain.

Im going alright. I’m really tired and I’m just sitting here doing diamond art. I have an hour and 15 minutes until the dishwasher is finished and then I can go to bed!

Re: Battles

@Captain24 yes the noises are really irritating. Thankfully she's stopped now. It's the constant, repetitive noises that really get to me.

Hopefully the time goes quickly on the dishwasher so you can go to bed, hoping you can get a deeper sleep tonight sweet.

Re: Battles

They are hard @MissGremlin

Im hoping for a deep sleep. I don’t feel it though. I don’t think I’m tired enough. Hopefully the time goes quick.

Im at a really hard part of this diamond art and it’s doing my head in!

Re: Battles

@Captain24 that's hard when you don't feel tired enough. A deep sleep would be nice and really help.

I'm on the last section of my diamond art but actually getting frustrated with it but I think it's cos my body and back is aching so I'm just feeling extra sensitive. (I'm safe).

Re: Battles

It also gets frustrating when you are so close to the end. I’ve done a little more so it looks a bit easier. @MissGremlin

I hope you’re not too sore.

My dishwasher is nearly finished!

Re: Battles

@Captain24 yes, like you can see the finish line but just not quite there yet.

I'll be ok, i took some pain relief earlier but it hasn't helped.

Yay for the dishwasher being almost finished.

Re: Battles

Wow. That's great! @MissGremlin

I can imagine the high level of anxiety, but you did it!! That would have taken a lot of courage, determination and heaps of adrenaline! You even dealt with seeing those two people you know. I'm glad you went. I bet Casper loved it! How did you feel after doing it? pride? exhaustion? hope? I'm never doing that again? 🙂💚
