@Captain24 it was hard. I'm so glad you have support around you ☺️.

I do have my ear buds but because of my migraine the thought of noises being right in my ears feels too much, everything feels sensitive.

I understand that fear but you've got good support around you and we are always here for you too. I think hospitals just have that feeling to them, they aren't the nicest places to be in. That would have been a hard experience being there while your uncle was dying, big hugs sweet ❤️.

Those warming meals are the best, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Think I might have to make some curried egg sandwiches over the weekend.

It's Harry Potter that I'm watching.

The workers have just left, they have made a huge mess that i will have to clean up. I've just gone around and picked up lots of sharp pieces of metal that they left behind. The rest of the mess can wait for now I'm going to try to rest for a while before I have to go out.

Im glad they have gone. A shame about the mess but at least one thing is that it’s quiet now and they don’t have to come back.

I get that with noise in your head, I can’t actually wear them as I’m ear holes are to small and they don’t fit.

I have never seen Harry Potter. I tried to watch the first movie when it came out but just hated it!

@Captain24 it's ok sweet, I'm glad you got a sleep. I dozed off briefly but woke up in a panic so I'm working on calming myself down from that (I'm safe).

It was a huge relief when they left. The people across the road from me have been having workers there every single day since they moved in about 4 months ago so there's constant noise. But not as bad as when people are thumping around on your roof.

Oh I have that problem with my ears, they don't sit properly and if I wear them too much I end up with cuts in my ears so I limit it to when I go out and at bedtime.

I'll definitely let you know if I do.

I never really used to like Harry Potter and I'm still not a huge fan but the movies are a bit of a comfort when they are on.

The noise across the road would be hard but at least you can kinda get use to it. It was noisy when they built the house behind me but being regular noise I just got use to it and it didn’t bother me.

I can only imagine the thumping around and feeling like they are going to fall through the roof! Plus all the metal and drilling and banging. I’m sure it seems peaceful now.

My ears start to hurt after a little while bug I can’t actually hold them in, I have to keep pushing them in. My ears get sore after the foam ear plugs too. Plus they don’t sit in very well. They look like they are falling out.

I guess if it’s comfort then that’s all that matters.

@Captain24 the noise across the road is tolerable cos it's a bit distant and they are respectable workers aswell. Honestly it sounded like there were elephants on the roof 😂.

I had to head out, I'm sitting outside and it's freezing cold. My fingertips are slightly purple 😂.

Yes mine fall out on me too, they definitely aren't designed for all ear shapes.

Oh.. that’s too cold to be out. I’m snuggled up in my nice warm bed and do t want to get out!

Im less tired so thats good. As for how I'm feeling I really don't know. It’s not good and it’s not bad it’s kinda nothing. But not in a good way or a bad way. That makes absolutely no sense but it doesn’t to me either.

@Captain24 part of my roof is tin but mostly tiled. Near my room is tin so I like when it rains.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner i only just got home, I got stuck at the shops cos my car wouldn't start. I broke down crying, my head has been pounding so much and all I wanted to do was get home (I'm safe). I'm sitting on my lounge with Casper now thinking of what to do.
