Managing thoughts of suicide & self-harm

Battles

Battles

Hi all, does anyone else just feel like life is just one big sh!t show? It's just one thing after another, constant drama, family issues, money struggles, stress, anxiety it's just always something.

When do things get easier, do things ever change?

I've been through more than i care to think about in my life but today has pushed me to breaking point and it's bringing up alot of bad memories of previous suicide attempts.

I just feel like it's not worth it, it's not worth fighting, not worth hanging on anymore.

Re: Battles

I would, but I don't have any milk to have a cuppa yet @MissGremlin I'm waiting on my groceries to be delivered.

I would like to dig in and get it done and then have a cuppa with you later, if you're up for it?

@NightFury no worries, I will wait until you are ready and have some milk then ☺️.

Hope you can find your focus again to finish it sweet, you've got this ❤️

Re: Battles

@Captain24 awww that's so sweet to even just think of, thankyou sweet. I get really angry and frustrated at myself for letting it get so bad. It seems to be a very common thing for people with different conditions, managing a house on top of other things can be alot.

You are honestly doing so well sweet just take it slowly and make sure you rest up after.

The exercises sound really helpful which is good.

Things are starting to spiral a bit. I'm still sort of ok for now, just doing my best here.

Re: Battles

It is common. I struggle the most in the afternoons and evenings. @MissGremlin. I get the house and stuff all sorted in the mornings and then it’s downhill from there. So I totally understand.

I have to put all the food back in the cupboard 😢. That’s hard trying to organise it and work out where to put stuff. I’ve made heaps more room though and I’ve just sorted out the dog treats and thrown away the ones Pix can’t have.

I still have the bottom shelf and floor to go. I want to finish it though so I know that I’ve gotten all the moths out! Those two will be the hardest, trying to get up and down with my back. That’s where it hurts the most. But once it’s done it’s done!

The exercises are amazing! It is helping so much.

Is there anything I can help with? Anything you want to talk about? I wish I knew how to help you. I wish someone would see you and give you guidance.

Im around all afternoon if that helps.

Re: Battles

Cuppa @MissGremlin ?

My assignment is finished and submitted and I have a little breathing room now. I feel relieved. I get two weeks off before the next unit starts.

Re: Battles

Thank you @MissGremlin

Two weeks off will be amazing, so that was a big motivator for me with this assignment.

I've made a vanilla latte.

Re: Battles

@NightFury a vanilla latte sounds yummy.

I need an iced coffee cos I'm so hot at the moment.

2 weeks off is awesome and I'm happy you get that.
