New and Lost
Hi. I’m new. I’m in a really dark place and I’m so lost, I have nobody to confide in. I’m using and I feel like a failure. I’m a fraud. I just don’t know what to do. That’s it.

@MyLifesJourney the healing journey is never a linear one. Just because you don't see big improvements day-to-day, doesn't mean there never will be - even just taking the time to connect with people here and feel seen and heard might seem like the smallest, most insignificant glimmer compared to the pain you're in... but those small glimmers can and do add up over time.
Having your heart warmed by a nature doco (and about ravens, love it!) is a small glimmer too; that joy and curiosity still lives within you.
Did you learn any cool facts about ravens that you wanna share? 😊

We call them crows but Australia doesn’t actually have many crows. We have small ravens. The difference between ravens and crows is that ravens are bigger and they mate for life and are solitary birds, preferring the company of their mates and offspring. Crows on the other hand, are much more social and usually live in bigger packs.
Ravens settle territorial disputes without any physical aggression towards other ravens. The most aggressive they become is by shoving another raven out of the way. Disagreements are settled by intimidation tactics. Whoever flies away first looses.
Lastly, a raven is allowed to fly through another raven’s territory but they’re not allowed to stop within another’s territory. 🙂
