Coin Collectors' Corner

Coin Collectors' Corner

Hey Everyone!

I thought I'd open this space up to talk all things coins!

I've noticed that we have a few interested coin collectors.

@Mustang67 @Harmonium @Shaz51 @Snowie Feel free to tag anyone.

I'm a bit gutted that I missed out on the Bluey coin collection. I was waiting eagerly for it 😞

Re: Coin Collectors' Corner

Good morning @ENKELI I am looking at an auction that is coming up in 16 days time, and they have 3 Vietnam 50th anniversary coins for sale that have been graded. The current lowest bid is $50.

The auction is through Roxbury Auctions Roxbury Auctions if you are interested.

Re: Coin Collectors' Corner

@Judi9877 I go along with what @Mustang67 wrote. There will always be a demand for these collectable items, coins especially. I know my grandfather had a coin collection that was worth quite a bit. I don't know what happened to it, whether it was sold or one of my family members has it but I remember mum telling me that they'd had it appraised and it was worth a bit.

$60 in the grand scheme of things isn't really a lot for a couple of coins that will probably end up being worth heaps more in 10 years' time.

Dear @Mustang67

I have a bluey coin

I’m definitely going into town to the mint to open an account there once my inheritance comes through but lawyers in America are eating up all my thoughts lately.

@TAB @Have you performed a Google search uploading a picture of it to search

When I won some 1 gram coins that arrived with no information, that how I found out exactly what the coin was and some information about it.

The coin sounds very interesting. Do you have a photo of it?

Re: Coin Collectors' Corner

@PeppyPatti hold on to the Bluey coin and try not to damage any packaging if it has any, as that will increase the resale value if you ever want to sell it. I worked for a variety of lawyers for nearly 30 years and I can truly say, I don't like them or the way that they charge people.

Are the lawyers in charge of the Estate? If so, I assume their fees will come out of the estate before it gets divided up. So you shouldn't have to pay for their services.

Why are they making it so difficult for you?
