Morning appointment with psych was really tough. She stopped desensitization after about ten minutes because I was too distressed Did have a minor breakthrough - we both realised that I can relax more when listening to relaxation music without commentary or words - haven't been able to relax like that before - nearly fell asleep!

Did feel sick and had a massive headache for the rest of the day.

Saw GPin the afternoon and as usual came out more positive and with a bit of life in me - she's an absolute angel.

Hoping for you it is nothing serious. Easy for me to say don't stress until you find out - know that is difficult, know I would think the worst even if my head said there was nothing to worry about. xxx

I really hope you will be able to sleep properly one day soon sis. I have been sleeping a lot the last few days.

No I'm not great but I am ok. I think it's just a combination of the weather, not getting out and no appointments. Both GP and psych are back middle of next week. Talked to GP today -by accident. I was going to call her yesterday and decided not to and accidently called her today - still transferring from old phone to new!! Hit the wrong button!! Hung up quickly when I realised what I'd done. She rang me back though and I talked for a little while. She is going to call me in a couple of days to see how I'm going then.

Sorry you are not feeling so good atm.

I am hoping you will be able to get out tomorrow or plan something that accommodates the weather a bit more. Are you able to go visit someone tomorrow- so that you have something to do and hopefully make u feel better sis.

Have you thought about joing a club or taking up a hobby- do something you are passionate about.

I'm going to try to get to the beach tomorrow.

I think I just need to get through the next couple of days and hopefully I will start picking up a bit.

I might head to bed soon - I don't want to bring you down at all tonight.

To be honest sis - I really don't know. I have just been so low the last few days and feeling like I'm slipping down again. There has not been anything in particular I can identify. I have just been feeling really flat and teary. I've tried to get motivated to do stuff but haven't had the energy. It took me a few goes to even get the mowing finished.

Re: Supporting a friend with terminal illness

@Zoe7 sis

I could sense you were teary tonight but I can also sense this will pass pretty quickly too. I've felt a bit down today too- I think its linked to my sleep though. I just do what I can and just try to plan some nice things to do.

I do understand the lack of energy, and is there anyone that can help you with your lawn or just have someone over for some company. I know just having someone there might help you feel a bit better.

How are you now???

You're definitely a few steps ahead of me. I wanted to go to the beach today but started crying as soon as I got in the car. I made it to the supermarket and got a few things but didn't want to go any further. Then I hit my head on the top of the car when I was getting in - that really didn't help - just made me feel even worse. I am feeling anxious but don't want to take anything - haven't had any meds for anxiety for a couple of weeks and don't want to get caught in the trap of needing them.

How am I now - sh*t. Crying. Can't put the tv on because there is so much I don't want to see or listen to.

I'm trying really hard to not let my head get out of control and I think its making me physically feel tired and anxious.

I know I'll get through it but it is just one of those days. Knowing you are there does help

I'm glad it helps you a little knowing I'm here. I was on my mobile early today when I messaged around 6pm. I do understand what you are experiencing and feeling. I just feel you need to try to do something even though initally may make you feel worse. Perhaps these negative emotions are signs that you need to make some changes to your life. I do believe in you and truly care about you.

When I am anxious I try to think of things that will reduce my anxiety and also make me feel better. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you.

@Former-Member Any suggestions sis on what changes I can make - or should make - please help me out.

I am going to try really hard to get out tomorrow. I do miss the beach - it certainly has alleviated a lot of my anxiety.

I know you believe in me and care - I just need to get back to a place that I do also.

I think anything that will help reduce your anxiety

Could u make an appointment to see someone else while ur GP is away?

Have u been able to get the candles?

What help me yesterday was signing up for swimming and getting out and talking to people

Do they run any day program where you live?

Self help books? Happiness trap

But right now perhaps make a cup of tea or take a shower and get into your favorite PJs
