Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

As our @Shaz51 says, just when you think things are starting to go OK, something seems to happen ...

Yep @Former-Member When there is a light at the end of the tunnel it is usually a train.

Is everything ok for you and Mr Darcy? Thinking of you both.

@Faith-and-Hope
Finding that after going to a carer support program this week that emotions surfaced and found myself feeling sad and tired. I usually give myself the luxury of wallowing in self pity for a short time before picking myself up.

Hey @Determined

Very much thinking of you this week Bro with all your appointments. Good to hear you are high and dry.

Finally found where the hens were laying this morning, hoping not too much balut in the 13 egg haul.

Darcy

*balut = Filipino culinary special which I am not tempted to try at all.

I would like to add pics to forum but find it easier to use phone than PC. Can you add pictures using a tablet? Thinking of getting one.

Hi @Former-Member - how are you today. Thinking of you today xx

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Sorry you are feeling that way @Former-Member .... but I usually do the same. It is important to validate our feelings, which wallowing in self-pity for a bit does, just need to upkeep a limit on it so it doesn't start spiralling.

i use an iPad to upload images. It is possible on an android phone if you go into the site and find the desktop form of the SANE site apparently .... I can tag someone if you need more info with that.

🤗💕

Checked the flood updates this morning and the river is on its way down again. While we are high and dry that is good news for people in town. Still a few roads closed around the place but I am happy to stop at home 😊

Just saw your last post, trust things pick up for you again soon. I wouldn't mind a few hens but the dog would just eat them.

I was supposed to have my first appointment with the support organization this week but it was cancelled due to the weather. Try again next week.

The specialist appointment I have been sweating on went ok with a potentially significant diognosis (for myself) ruled out. Have been concerned how darling would cope if what the gp was concerned about warranted further testing.

Hi @Former-Member

I have managed to add pics from my tablet. Click the same link as with tbe pc. The phone app drives me crazy so given up on that unless there are no other options where I am and I need my sane fix.
