Hi @Maryjune Thinking of you today as you go to the doc too.
@Determined, how are you bro?
@Anony18 Hard to keep calm and carry on when we are worried, important thing to ask, is this behaviour in character or out of character? Is there a 3rd party you can check in with if needed?

Big wave to @Faith-and-Hope @Amy2 @Shaz51 @Over-theEdge @Mazarita

Hi @Former-Member

Doing ok now that exam is out of the way, have been feeling low Friday and over the weekend.
Combination of stressing about the exam (lacking motivation and focus to do the required preparatory work) and thinking about an upcoming specialist appointment for myself (later this week).

My darling unfortunatly is sensing my unease and it is affectng her.
Will be glad when this week is over.

Have a job interview this afternoon so looking forward to that :- )

Hi @Former-Member - that is quite a good question. Do you mean my behaviour or my partner's? The behaviour is not that out of behaviour of my partner's but it has not been a behaviour that has occurred in past few months. And in terms of 3rd party, do you mean check if my partner is ok or a psych?

Sorry for the questions...bit of a doozy day.

@Determined - oh good luck for your interview.

Hi @Anony18

I meant the behavior of your partner and by 3rd party I meant anyone else who keeps an eye on him who you could discretely check in with who might be able to give you some assurance that he is about and/or OK..

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hi @Former-Member - Ah ok! GOTCHA!

Yeah the behaviour - I won't say is out of place but it has not occurred for a while and normally he has been good with responding after I persist to tell him how worried I am. There may be a possibility that he has gone for a last minute hike (hence no phone/reception) but it is all guesses. In terms of 3rd party - if towards end of week I still have not heard anything then I do have his home number to call or alternatively contact his sister or his best friend on facebook (I have spoken to them before but obviously it is preferred not to).

Just wanting to make sure that you had some way of ensuring that your partner was safe.

I know that Mr Darcy has no idea of the havoc I feel in my heart in response to some of his behaviours, have even thought of investing in some medieval style armory for protection.

@Former-Member

Yes I will have some way and worst comes to worst will have to go to his place even if it ends up him telling me off.

I know how you feel my friend cause I am the same. My partner I don't think realises the heartache his actions does sometimes. The worry I get in terms of some of his behaviours. So will just need remind him that unfortunately I can't read his mind to see what he is thinking/doing/feeling. If I could a whole lot of worry would go down the drain.

How are you and Mr Darcy today?
