Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

I love Mr Darcy too @Shaz51 ... just a little unsure as to future direction. Know that change is needed but Mr D not able to make big decisions at present.

Yes so can I, on a regular basis...

My goodness, I would go grey (& need) extra hair-colouring, from those chainsaw & trailer experiences...

I have to admit, I have used a chainsaw at 3 metres in the air, whilst standing in the bucket of a front-end loader (suspended)...

That was dodgy...

Haha @Adge I may possibly have been involved in shonky operations like that in the past. Whatever it takes to get the job done lol...
Add a ladder to that equation ant it gets really exciting 😁

@Former-Member @Shaz51
I think it is evident we all love our respective darlings.
I think that can often make hard times harder because we care so much and can often feel so helpless.

@Former-Member seems you got off more lightly than I would have for a headbutt like that lol. My darling would not be at all amused.

I see what you mean @Determined

Having almost fallen off a wobbly ladder (3 metres up) several times, whilst using an electric hedge-trimmer - I think I may have lost several year's of life-expectancy...

Yes, feeling helpless whilst wanting to help (& caring) is really hard.
