Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Last night Mum had surgery to fix a blocked , twisted bowel

I did not sleep very well last night at all

and I rang up the bigger hospital which is 60kms away this morning and was able to speak to mum

Hi @Shaz51

How are you holding up at the moment? It always adds to the burden when sleep is elusive 😞
Trust that your mum recovers quickly and that you are managing.

Oh @Shaz51

I am so sorry to hear this - I will be thinking of you and of her - that is a big operation and your mother isn't young anymore

I pray for the best for both of you

Hi @Shaz51@Determined

Sending love, remembering your loved ones in hospital. Try and get some moments of self care in so you are not entirely overwhelmed.
