Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Good afternoon @Determined, @Appleblossom, @Former-Member, @PeppiPatty, @Faith-and-Hope, @Former-Member, @Decadian xx

thinking of you today with your appointment @Former-Member

let us know how it all went @Determined, @Former-Member

thank you for the hugs last night

Yes Mr Shaz ended up taking a extra med last night and went to bed xx

when he plans things and then things happen that we can not do those things which he has planned , he gets flustered and worried that he won`t get those things done and then he get overwhemed , panics`s

so we worked this morning and having the afternoon off

finding the right balance is hard , and you never know when things are going to happen in between like me getting the flu or my mum was put in hospital

Yes it can be catching @Appleblossom,

my special friend @PeppiPatty, I brought a magazine today , going to red it this afternoon

never know Mr Shaz might get up and say I am off to mow some lawns but I think it is too wet

Hi @Former-Member

Trust your appointment went well today, my thoughts have been with you.

I trust my anxieties and questions have not been too much for you when you have had concerns of your own 😞 all of your patient replies have been most helpful, thankyou.

@Shaz have not had time to check and see how things are going with you but I hope Mr Shaz has picked up a little.

Hi @Shaz51

Is there a particular magazine you like? English Country Living is one of my favourites.
I too would like more flowers in our garden, Mr Darcy mowed a bed of ground cover the other day (admittedly with plenty of weeds in between) and both whipper snippers are in for repair... Thanx for your checking in.

@Faith-and-Hope, @Determined thanx for checking in too.

There are always ups and downs, the only certainty is uncertainty. Have got out the surfboard to ride the current wave which I am hoping will only be a ripple. Not sure the black dog is lurking but hoping that by dumping the new med that was probably causing a decrease in the levels of another will see Mr Darcy will be back on track ... time will tell.
In the mean time we press on ...

Darcy
