My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Hi @Shaz51 @Determined @Faith-and-Hope @soul @Cath22

I think Mr Darcy's diagnosis is now confirmed as bipolar ii, personality disorder (NOS) and anxiety/OCD. Depression a symptom of the BPii not a separate thing.

He is getting weary of appts but is good with meds so hoping to spread appts out a bit. Couple of side effect issues to sort too.

@Blue-eyes-77 there are carer support groups about - if you give a rough location as to where you are I might be able to give you some links.

Hi @Former-Member - that's a mouthful of a diagnosis. I bet you are both over all these appointments. If only life was less complicated huh?

Hey @Former-Member, that really is a detailed diagnosis. Good to know what you are truly dealing with and yes, hopefully you can spread the appointments out a bit as it is pretty overwhelming/exhausting when they are virtually on top of each other.

Glad to hear Mr Darcy is good with the meds - though getting on top of the side effects seems like a huge battle itself sometimes doesn't it?

Hope having the diagnosis is a positive for you @Former-Member

Hi @Shaz51, I am good thank you 🙂

Mr C is continuing to respond to his new meds well. I am almost starting to relaz...a bit. He is coping with Miss Nearly-four much better too which is wonderful. Unfortunately he put his back out yesterday so we are now trying to deal with that - I can't win!!!

How are you today?

@Shaz51 @soul
He / we are doing all the right things to manage it so hoping we won't go back to crisis again.

Just been up to the chooks to ensure all was right before we go - one of the birds was crook and we had to euthanize it. Mr Darcy quite upset about it.

Anyhoo ... must finish packing and hit the road.

Will not be about too much but will check in from time to time.

Have a wonderful time @Former-Member. When I was little, we kept chooks for eggs and meat. Our place backed onto a creek. My older brother loves telling the story of how Dad chopped the head off one of the chickens and it ran into the water.

Hi @Cath22

that is good news about Mr C except for putting his back out yesterday , hope he feel better soon

I am almost starting to relaz...a bit. -- with you comment i totally know what you mean , it is one day at a time here too '

Mr shaz and i are self employed , it has been raining for 2 days , so no mowing which is making mr shaz very anxious, and worried , yesterday he was very low , today is a bit better , also mr shaz stops and starts his meds

we do cleaning as well , but not until tomorrow
