Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Hi @Shaz51

Does your mother not know what is wrong? Have the doctors just not told her or has she got mixed up.

Other people have had sick mothers too and so I have it mixed up in my memory - was your Mum the one with pancreas pain? - or is she the one with cancer? - I really forget and I am so sorry - but I would be peeved if I didn't know myself

I know your husband finds it hard to cope when things happen. And things will happen - none of us has a free ticket - though that would be nice

He needs that dx - and I am sorry about the kidney stones -

Yes - take care of yourself - you need to put yourself first with all this going on around you - but you know this

I am just writing notes - I know you like notes - and some hugs - and some more hugs

Living alone as certain advantages

Hello @Decadian, @PeppiPatty, @Faith-and-Hope, @Former-Member

Mum is the one with pancreas pain? yes, she is tired but she is ok xx

I am a bit tired and I hope I am not getting a clod

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

I hope you are not getting a clod too @Shaz51 - that would be terrible

I hope you are not getting a cold - I thought I was getting one last night - and the pressure in my sinuses built up and up and up until I finally thought - ""Silly girl - take a tablet for sinus pressure" so I did and it worked and I went back to bed for a while and laid face down on a hot water bottle and I think that was that

A clod - that is a terrible thing to have - and I hope you don't have a cold either

I love typos - most I let go but other's - they are too great to ignore

I hope you feel better by now

I'm not sure @Former-Member .... let's ask @NikNik .... I have seen that she is around.

You are referring to the Topic Tuesday discussion on carer burnout, aren't you ?
