Sometimes I feel like I’m on top of things and don’t feel like my trauma defines me and I don’t feel so ashamed and scared. Other times I want to hide from the world and feel like a **** (I’m not going to say the word here since I don’t want to trigger anyone) 😭, I feel so ashamed that I don’t want people to know

It is a pain (pun absolutely intended lol) @creative_writer By the end of school today I was exhausted and a lot of that was growing pain. Glad to be home to have some pain relief and rest.
Have a not great Toby at home also. Had him to the vet again yesterday and he has medication and cream which has helped already. He was supposed to have the cone of shame but hasn't licked the affected area so does not need it. The gorgeous people at the vet fitted me in quicky - so blessed to be part of that organisation and the amazing care they give.

A grade 1 @tyme I have never had a straight grade before so it is a little different. They are so little - super cute but very noisy 😒 Gotta work on that with them over the next couple of weeks.
I also have 4 EAL students plus a couple on learning plans so it is a lot - I'll get there though.

Grade 1 is a nice grade @Zoe7 . They are more settled than the Foundation kids and are in more of a routine.
Do you ever want to go back to art?

Thanks @creative_writer Tobes is already doing better - the medication and cream worked really quickly. I am grateful to be home for the next couple of days to keep a close eye on him though.
The grade 1s are cute but hard work also - they are still babies really so take time to get into routines and be school ready each day.

Are you able to talk to your team prior your placement to see if things can be put in place to help you feel successful?
