So I've decided to create a new space, similar to The Ice-Memery but instead of being silly memes, these are memes/images/words etc. that I've found that are more like tools and insights for recovery. Hence, I welcome you to:

These are things I've found that are insightful, provide psychoeducation, or that have helped inspire me in my recovery journey. I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! But to start us off, I would love to share a nice lil stack of memes/pics I've found that I thought were really worth the read.

Before I try and get some sleep, I thought I would share some of Ravenwolf's work with the lovely ladies out there ❤️

She never had anyone to pick her back up and help her rise again when she fell.

The only person that was always there..was her.

Through the heartaches, the pain and disappointments, she didn’t have anyone to turn to..and she was okay with that.

While the world sees a strong, independent woman now, there was once a broken little girl that learned never to depend on anyone.

It’s not that she didn’t have people to care about her, she just realized that she needed to forge her courage from the struggles of fire..

From within herself.

She always seemed to end up on broken roads chasing dead end love and trying to turn projects into partners.

She was strong enough for two people, and somehow, she inevitably tried to fix her damaged love interests.

She knew what she wanted and she wouldn’t stop until she found the happiness she knew she deserved.

She stopped wasting pointless tears on people that didn’t care and started loving herself for staying true to herself.

She didn’t have all the answers and often got lost trying to find her way, but she didn’t settle, quit or stop trying to elevate her life and find happiness however she could.

So, as she stood strong- a confident, independent and vivacious woman that amazed the world, she guarded her truths with courageous passion.

She’d make no apologies for who she was or accept treatment that was beneath her, and that didn’t always sit well..

Especially with weaker people.

Come what may, she’d keep chasing her dreams, loving her people passionately and living her best life.

All those secrets that the little girl had learned to protect?

A proud woman knew that the right person would come along someday and appreciate, accept and love every one of those imperfections.

Until then, she’d keep flying high and living passionately..

In all the ways that made her happy.

Proud, strong and free.

@Mustang67 i tried to teach my children from a young age that they should be independentand not rely on others for happiness. i certainly taught them that not everyone will like them and thats okay because they dont have to like everyone either.

I saw this on FB and thought it would be a good reminder for everyone.

Stay away from people who lie to you, disrespect you, use you or try to bring you down. It’s not being selfish when you protect your peace, it’s necessary. Some people only hang around to take advantage of your kindness, sap your energy, or hijack your support. The more you give it, the more they take. You don’t owe anyone a reason for you to leave. Love yourself enough to walk away from anything that makes you feel bad. And surround yourself with honest speakers and those who have higher regard for you. Your environment shapes your heart. Choose those who make you grow, not the ones that break you.

@Mustang67 Although i do completely stand with you about to - NEVER HANG AROUND THOSE WHO PUT YOU DOWN - i still always pray for those people who treat me like that.

Not trying to sound pious friends, but because i now know they will end up receiving the same treatment they handed out in the end. (karma, God's Wrath, or the riocochay, are true enough) Not that i pray such people would stay nasty like that, but rather i pray they also learn to let go of bad life like that FOREVER, and instead grow REAL LOVE and to learn and respect the difference of others, instead of treat them badly.

i do admit at times i do still struggle here coping the full brunt of people's dislike, but i do know that where i have learned to do this, it has been very liberating from the nasty feeling such people would always cast on me, while thinking about them, or worse have to face them, or when i raged at such people when psychotic.

For i feel a deep pity for them and what awaits them doing shit like that to others.

So lets be careful that wrong coming our way does not become our way.Loving wrong to death is better than suffer wrong's flame extinguishing our love.When someone raises themselves above you, make sure they do not drop on you coming down.
