Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

Looked up same/similar tubs at Bunnings @Faith-and-Hope They are just a little cheaper but do not look as sturdy. I will drop into Bunnings first and take a look at them in the morning then to BigW afterwards if they are not any good at Bunnings. There is a couple of dollars difference but the ones at BigW look much stronger.

Thank you for the kisses for Cat and hugs for Toby I am really worried about Cat again and it has been too many times now she is off her food so there is obviously something not right with her. I'll try to get her into the vet early next week. I know her vet has surgery on Thursdays and doesn't work Fridays ... @Former-Member

I am going to head off myself now F&H and Sherry - feeling really tired, flat and agitated so will head to bed and try to sleep - hopefully the meds kick in quickly - often feeling restless is a sign they are starting to work so everything crossed once I lay down I can sleep quickly. Goodnight to you both and anyone else calling by this thread tonight

Good morning @Zoe7 @Faith-and-Hope @MDT @outlander @Former-Member @Appleblossom and anyone else around this morning.

@Zoe7 sorry to hear how your sister's impending move is effecting you. Take care. Hope today goes according to plan with your garage job.

Have a relaxed yet rewarding day all xx

Re: Far and Away

Thanks @MDT @eth I am going to miss having my sister so close and that will take time to get used to. They will be moving just before Christmas so there is still some time before they go.

@Faith-and-Hope I didn't end up going to Bunnings - went straight to BigW and got the stronger boxes. It was only $8 more than the Kmart ones and the lids are a better quality so should be good for stacking. I also went to the bank so that is also done. That means I can spend the next couple of days at home.

It is already really warm and the garage is hot so I need to do a bit at a time and then take breaks. I have some things stacked in the kitchen that belong in the garage as well - they have been there since the flood last year. I can cover the dining table and sort them out there and then move them into the garage later. It already looks better having some of the bigger things that needed to be thrown out on the trailer but I know there is more behind the timber and chipboard - that will make another dent in the mess. If I can get that done today, the sawdust cleaned up and the table moved then I can put some things back in there that can't get wet. There are things such as the kayak trolley, life jacket etc. that can stay outside as it doesn't matter if it rains on them.

How is your day going?

Re: Far and Away

Go-slow day here @Zoe7 . D3 has come down with a psychosomatic injury - inflamed joint - so she is needing a lot of phone-based support when I am not at home, and physical support when I am there.

Apart from that it’s uni work and visual diaries. Some of the visiting family came to see our group exhibition work, which was nice.

Re: Far and Away

That must be satisfying having some of visiting family see your exhibition @Faith-and-Hope It is great when we can share these things with others

No doubt your support helps her and she is so lucky to have you there for her. Send my love and thoughts to D3 - look after yourself too Hon.

I have hit a wall here myself. It is too hot at the moment to do much more - it is making me super tired so having a break again. I am going to need to move some things inside to sort out so my house will be really crowded again but I can then take time over the next week to do all that sorting and then move more things inside the garage, put up some hooks and shelves and then move everything back in there. There are also those things that can be left outside as it doesn't matter if they get wet or not. I have started now so can't stop and will just have to put up with the mess everywhere for a while. Bit by bit I will get it done and will no doubt feel much better when it is finally sorted.

You’re a champion @Zoe7 .... 💜🦋 ..... just give it the time it needs. You are sensible and practical, and yes, it will feel great when it’s done, and done properly.

Re: Far and Away

Thank you so much for that vote of confidence @Faith-and-Hope I needed that little pick-me-up and as usual you have provided it for me Hon

Going to work on transferring the things out of the broken boxes to the new ones next as I can do that inside where it is cooler and then move outside again a bit later. I do have an outside light and one in the garage so I can do some more of the rest of sorting tonight. WHat is left is mainly timber nd things that can be left in the rain if that eventuates tomorrow. The remaining tools can come inside to the kitchen for now. I am definitely not going to have enough hooks so will need a trip to Bunnings at some stage but I will wait until I have everything marked out on the wall to determine how many I will need - I can do that anytime though when everything is moved.

It would all be quite daunting if I look at it in it's entirety but breaking it up inot manageabe chunks is helping.

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member Have grinded the wheels off the old wheel chair - took some time and physical effort because of the structure of the chair but it is done and the wheels are stored with other wheels and the rest of the wheelchair on the trailer. It is surprising how much room that took up in the garage so that is one job I am really happy to have done today.

Rest now then go again when I have cooled down and regained some energy.
