Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

I have some chicken and think I'll make a stirfry tonight @Maggie I always cook the chicken first without any spices or sauces so I can give a little to Cat and Toby too. Then I do the veggies, spices and sauces.

Jammies days are good days - there will be a lot of those over the holidays for me and the other days I will live in tracksuits. I am not a huge fan of shoes either so it will be nice to walk around with bare feet too. I live in my thongs or bare feet in Summer but do wear socks in winter when it is colder.

Planning on starting to sort out the dining room table and work stuff tonight - as well as the washing up - but not going to stress if I don't get that all completed. I will most likely watch the Block later and then Les Norton on ABC after that. Not much else on to watch.

I am not sure what the weather is going to be like tomorrow but I would really like to get the backyard mowed and the car vacuumed out. Toby also needs a haircut and a bath so that is on the list for sometime this week.

Re: Far and Away

I smiled when I read you cook the chicken first so Toby and cat can get some before spices are added. We are well trained eh. 😁😁

I wear trackers all the time, no shoes in summer unless I go out, but I have slip ons for that.

The holidays are sounding good @Zoe7 I hope you don’t get busy, you’ve have a busy term.

Not sure what I’ll watch yet, if anything.

Warm here today for a change. We went back to winter for a few days. I’m not complaining though, as summer is my worst season.

I painted a few rocks today. My neighbour has her style worked out now, so we quietly get on with it. She’s a dear soul, gentle and kind. I admire her doing this and enjoying it so much. She talks about her life, things she’s done, places she’s visited.

Re: Far and Away

The time you spend with your neighbour sounds like it is good for you too @Maggie You get to do what you enjoy with the painting and hear all about her life and travels. She sounds like a really interesting women and I am so happy that you have that connection in your life

Yes our fur babies have us well trained lol I gave Toby different food tonight - what he often has is no longer available and the more expensive food I get from Petbarn I only get on special now because it is too expensive. He doesn't care as long as it is food. Cat on the other hand is very peticular about her food - there are only 2 brands she will eat and she turns her nose up at the expensive stuff.

I do have a lot I want to get done these holidays but an not going to oush myself too much either. It has been a big term and I do need some rest and relaxation in there as well.

You sound like me - happy in jammies, tracksuits, shorts, t-shirts and thongs/bare feet. I love Summer - much prefer it to Winter but do get uncomfortable when it is too hot. Up to 30 is perfect for me. It is a good thing I have the heat pump so can put on the air conditioning in the hotter weather.

Re: Far and Away

The afternoon was really great @Zoe7. On a bit of a whim, I picked up D2 and went to visit an artists’ colony ..... we arrived late, so didn’t do much more than have a bit of a look around and a cup of tea, but it was heavenly ❣️ So green, so gardeny, so beautiful ..... old buildings and a strong sense of farm / home / hearth ..... I have come home more settled just knowing it exists in my city ..... 😏
