I am glad you are chewing through it all deapite being that tired ..... you are of a determined nature .... lol ..... (says one to another) ..... and I hope the planning doesn’t keep you up very late tonight. You have done so well to recover from that chest infection last week, and your immunity needs to keep holding up. Please be careful with you ..... 💜🦋

@Zoe7 we went out for lunch with mr. f&h for Father’s Day, and he was in an okay mood ..... I think it would have been a better mood, but he is concerned about our western kids - one in particular - and looking to go over ahead of the rest of us leaving for the uni break, although he will take D2 as he has taken over from her carer .... 🤨 ..... there is both good and not-good in that.

It will be down-time from his regimen for the rest of us if he is away for a while though, and D2 will get time with D1, which she misses.

S2 having a wobbly day here, but he was okayish enough for lunch before needing the leave the restaurant.

We are both determined little,vegemites @Faith-and-Hope I have woken up a bit more - needed to to cut the palings. All 13 cut - no have to work out how to put the rooves on because I don't have any palings left wide enough. I think I will need to cut 2 for each and join them together. That will take time and I don't have that time tonight - so will cut them and join them tomorrow after school. I also need to drill the holes in the front of each one so that is my next job. I can get that done before I lose light this afternoon.

I can understand Mr.'s not being in a great mood if he is concerned about your western kids but he also needs to appreciate the ones he is with presently - easy enough to say but harder to do hey. It will be great for D2 to be with D1 though - it would be hard for her to have that distance from her sister but so lucky to have you there with her. I get that Mr. taking over her care is both a good and bad thing - it was great for her to have that contact with someone other than family ...angry for you though after all Mr. put you through he has now taken over her care - but that is his rationality at the moment - he wants to blame you for not being present when he was the one going away each week. grrr!!

It will be good for you, S2 and D3 to have that break from his regimen and have some breathing space. ou can all get on with uni and have some really nice family time without the extra pressures and control over everything.

I hope S2 is okay and can recover from the wobbly quickly. He has been doing so well in his own space lately so very much hoping this is just a little blip for him.

I better head off and drill these holes then see how much ight I have left.

@Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member All holes drilled and birdhouses packed in box and in car. Still have to cut the rooves but too late now so will do that tomorrow after school. I have a late day at work on Tuesday and pdoc after school on Wednesday so tomorrow is the only afternoon left. It should only take about an hour and then I will glue and nail them together (to cut down a little time) so they are ready for the kids to put on their birdhouses Tuesday. I will definitely have to go in Thursday - probably from first thing. We got 6 or 7 (can't remember) done last Thursday and these ones are easier to put together so should be able to do that amount again. That means we have to do 2-3 every other day this week to get them done ...overwhelmed just thinking about it and will honestly be glad when they are done.

Off to have a shower now so will be back later. 👍

I am sure they will look amazing once they are done @Zoe7 , and the kids will remember this for life ..... ❣️

I hope if you ever do them then again you will have more lead-time so they are not so rushed if you need contingency time, like you ended up needing this time.

I did need more time @Faith-and-Hope - another week would have been enough. If I had already had the palings I would have started them earlier in the term. In the end I was fortunate to get them when I did to at least leave me time to try to do them ...then of course I got sick (definitely didn't need that).

I am a lot more positive about getting them done now I have had a shower - thought about how to do the rooves while I was showering (gotta love that hey) so tomorrow afternoon should be a bit easier. I won't have to join anything if it works out the way I think it will 👍

Feeling much better after a shower also - jammies on and it is still relatively early so have time to do planning. Fur babies fed and sleeping - just need to wash up and fold my clothes and that will be enough for tonight.
