If you have a zoo there @Zoe7, they might be happy to pass you out-if-date advertising material to recycle.

We have a couple of smaller zoos but they are quite a distance out from the city @Faith-and-Hope But I can make some enquiries and see what they have available. Might be a nice day trip out with Toby

Going to get myself up and dressed and head out to the garage. That way I will know how I am doing early enough to contact school before the end of the day.It would be good for the kids to have the same relief teacher tomorrow if need be.

So my day has gone really well lol @Faith-and-Hope @Sans911 My drill also died today so another trip to Bunnings. I have now managed to drill the holes in the birdhouse pieces for the little birds to fly into. That was enough effort for me today but it does mean I should be able to get to work tomorrow as I am not completely exhausted after doing that. I can now plan to get a couple of the birdhouses done with the kids tomorrow and hopefully go in Thursday to do the rest. This weekend I will cut the remainder of the birdhouses and have all of next week to complete those ones ...looking do-able again as long as this cold continues to improve

How was your appointment this morning @Faith-and-Hope? Have you caught up with your cousin before she leaves?

@Sans911 Did you manage to get part 1 completed Hon? ...and did you also manage a little sleep? Very much thinking of you last night and today - still sending you assignment completing vibes as well as some extra love

It seems you arem making headway despite the lack of sleep @Sans911 Hopefully your headache gets better soon and you can refocus later today. It is so hard to do any work when we are sleep deprived and have a headache - so rest up a little before you tackle part 2. I am super proud of you for pushing through and getting so much done the last couple of days Hon - you have shown tenacity and focus even when you felt like you couldn't do it - that is impressive

This whole birdhouse situation is certainly taking up a lot of time but it will be worth it when they are done and the kids will have something they have built to take home. It is going to be a really full on week and a bit but if we can get the first 9 done this week then it will leave more time for the remaining 14 next week - that is the plan anyway!

Dropped my cousin off at the airport @Zoe7, so yeah ..... got to spend some time today with her before she left.

My appointment went well this morning. The counsellor’s is helping to validate things I already know shouldn’t be how they are, and validating the choices I have made / am making according to the situation, as I have explained it to them.
