Re: Far and Away

Yes, usual appointment tomorrow @Zoe7 , and cousin coming with me for coffee and company .....

I am struggling to stay awake now, after a late night with homework, then woken early by mr.’s daily prep (he started earlier than usual :face_with_rolling_eyes: randomly .... ). Think it’s last week’s late nights catching up on me too. If I go quiet I have face-planted, okay ?

Re: Far and Away

I actually hope you do face plant Hon because you need the rest - especially if Mr randomly got up and going early today. So glad you have cousing going with you @Faith-and-Hope - great to have someone supporting you tomorrow. I always wish you had someone with you on appointment days - just to give you some love 💕

I am not far off bed now either - starting to fade too. Meds finally helped with headache which didn't happen last night - went to bed with a headache, woke up with a headache and no surprise had a headache all day Hopefully that is a good sign ...now just the coughing to get under control

How is D3 now - is she feeling better?

Morning @Zoe7 and anyone else around ..... 👋☕️💕

D3 is getting progressively better, but this particular virus is likely to impact her energy levels for some time regardless. She is continuing to work on assignments, and self-care, but home is a hard place to relax in with the regimen that co-exists here, so she is in a catch-22 of sorts. Still, that’s what we have got .....

Goodd the D3 is getting progressively better but not so grest thst the present home situstion is delaying that progress too @Faith-and-Hope Continuing to work on assignments and self-care are poitives however snd glad she is still doing all that.

Hope you have a good time with your cousin before she leaves Hon. hugs to you both

Re: Far and Away

Thanks @Zoe7 💕

My cousin didn’t sleep well and has pulled out of coming with me this morning, so I am leaving later than I would have, and grabbing a coffee to go on the way. I got caught up preparing collage papers (from old magazines) for a current art project and future ones. That was fun and I didn’t want to leave off doing it. Was thinking that it would be a good sorting activity for children, maybe with advertising flyers / brochures so they have safe content for children.

Re: Far and Away

Such a great idea for the kids @Faith-and-Hope It would be great if I could get my hands on some animal brochures/magazines for the kids to use to devlop an information report (that is what we are doing this term). I might look into printing some pages out for them to cut up and organise instead.

I printed out thousands of different coloured butterflies last year that I have been cutting up gradually to use as a collage. I aim to use all the butterflies in a rainbow effect to make a larger butterfly. It is a long term project as it takes so long to cut out the butterflies. I already have the canvas to glue them onto. I haven't decided what the background will be yet but thinking doing it in gold as that would match nicely with other things I alresdy have in my house.

It is a bummer about your cousin not sleeping and therefore not able to come with you today. I hope you can catch up with her afterwards Hon before she leaves today.

I am feeling a little better this morning. I only had about 5 hours sleep last night but it was without waking up so that has helped. I did manage about another hour after I fed the fur babies so it all adds up. I am going to head out to the garage soon and try to do a little cutting - that should give me a pretty good indication on whether I am well enough to go back to work tomorrow. If I can do that then I should have enough energy to get through tomorrow. I will not overdo it though - not planning on doing a lot - just a couple of palings with straight cuts to see how I feel doing something physical.

Let me know how your appointment goes and whether you get some more quality time with your cousin before she leaves. Hugs and hugs
