A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Hope your p doc appt goes well @Zoe7
I haven't seen mine in a while. I should drop in one day lol.
About a week left of tdf. Hopefully my favourite to win will do so. Time will tell. It has been a very unorthodox race this year

Re: Far and Away

Haven't been following it this year @MDT Been sooo much sport on lately and I have missed quite a bit of it. Pretty much just keeping up with AFL and NRL - that is about all I have been capable of watching over the last couple of months. Have not even watched the news for a while

How is that house of yours looking?

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Zoe7, not good here today, tonight, really flat 💔 just posted about it, but understand most don't have energy to spare for me, it's all too heav & illogical.
I was just reading along with all you all here. Poor Sherry... You are so helpful & caring with your posts 🌷

Re: Far and Away

Fingers Crossed it continues steadily for my son. He was relieved after his pdoc session today so developing rapport/trust in his new shrink, and that he does not need me and working out who he can trust, but that I am solidly behind him.

@Zoe7

@MDT

Its great that you are more relaxed about your doc and not feeling needy.

Today I have set up ongoing fortnight sessions with my new psychologist. I feel optimistic and a sense that we will work well together. So a huge burden lifted.

Thanks @Zoe7

All the best for the drive, and the funeral @Former-Member .... I will be thinking of you, with big feels for what you are going through. Take care, and travel safely Hon.

Re: Far and Away

Very much care about you @Former-Member I haven't been in a place for a long time now to help anyone - been feeling completely worthless and unable to support anyone - so it is certainly not personal. You know how it is when we feel like that - feels like nothing we have to say matters anyway. Slowly coming out of that but it is still hard on here. Most days the most I can manage is connecting with a couple of people but feel like I have let others down - so sorry if you have been one of those Hon - just been where I have been at

@Appleblossom Great news about the psychologist and that you feel optimistic going forward with them. Those relationships are so important - especially when you find the right person. Very happy for you. Really hope it is a positive move forward for you

Re: Far and Away

It took 4 months to get it to happen. @Zoe7 I caught the wrong train on the way home ... just jumped on without checking ...lol ... so had a little detour ... will have to remember to CHECK the destination ...lol

Hope you are able to wind down and get good night sleep for tomorrow. I know things have been really tricky for you in general and figured you felt better/safer on this thread. Glad to see you getting support here.

You matter to a few of us Bella.

Re: Far and Away

Yes do feel safer on this thread @Appleblossom and that has a lot to do with you and others here around me over the last couple of months - it has meant so much to me ...has kept me here despite not wanting to be because you all matter to me - a lot

haha you had a little detour - at least next time you will know better hey!

Will be winding down soon but surprising not tired tonight - might be the nerves. I do need to get to sleep soon but meds aren't doing much tonight so far. Need to talk to my pdoc about that on Wednesday - these new ones don't have the same sedative effect as the older ones which doesn't help when I can't wind down very well myself.
