A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Zoe7 👋 💕

You have probably headed

off to bed by now.

i have been problem solving across th e day. Had to buy a few things because I couldn’t find them in the chaos here. Have spent time with the dragons, and they’re all here at the moment

I wanted to finalise my packing so it’s done, and then push back on with my visual diary work around catching up with the kids.

I hope you have been resting up.

Re: Far and Away

I'm up watching the tennis final @Faith-and-Hope

I am really glad you have your baby dragons all there with you Hon

It is not ideal that you had to go out and buy a few things but great that you have managed to finalise your packing.

I have been resting up most of the day - with washing happening in between. Slowly getting on top of that - just a matter of getting everything dry now but expecting a clear day tomorrow so that should help. Still have the usual vacuuming and washing up to do and of course so much ironing after all the washing.

Have to go to my parents tomorrow afternoon to feed their dogs which is not what I would like to be doing but I will take Toby for the drive and let him play with them for a little while if it is still light when I get there. Have to stop by the shop also so will do that on the way home.

Had a headache this afternoon but that seems to have passed now. Teeth still not good bearable for now. Still have ABs left to take and pain killers if I need them but trying to hold off on those unless the pain gets really bad again.

Hope you are having some quality time with your baby dragons, get some of your visual diary work done and then cn get some much needed sleep

Re: Far and Away

Well done @Faith-and-Hope Yours and D2s packing done is a load off. Just visual diary work to go. Hope you get a lot of that done before you leave

I am up early so will likely have another sleep this morning. It was an up and down night but around 5 hours altogether so will build that up a bit more across the day.

I am going to try to get to the tip today so I have the trailer free to pick up the giraffe from my parents when I go to feed the dogs later this afternoon. The leg needs to be fixed before I take it into school. Now that I know I will be there all year I will take it in. There will be plenty of papier mache things happening in my house over the next couple of days but that should keep me busy. I need to make space this morning for all that to happen but it will mean I have cleaned up a bit more in the loungeroom and dining room so that will be a bonus.

@Former-Member Very happy that I stayed up to watch Ash play - topped off an ordinary day with both my Lions and Eels putting in very ordinary performances. Great that your Raiders won for you though Hon.

Re: Far and Away

Morning @Zoe7 👋💕

Thats so exciting about the giraffe .....

I woke early too. 5.5 hours sleep here, because I remember seeing 12:00 on the clock face before waking at 5:30am.

I haven’t turned on any bright lights, so I can fall asleep again if I am tired enough, or start working if I am wired enough (see what I did there ?? 😆)

I have pulled my notebook out to start the doc of visual diary submissions, and upload the one I have done, and see if I can get a second one sorted into it before a breakfast catch-up with the kids again this morning.

Sounds like you’re slowly getting there with the house. Did Toby get to play with your Mum and Dad’s dogs last night ?

Re: Far and Away

haha wired enough - that is funny @Faith-and-Hope That reminds me I need to get the wire out so I can add in the legs on the echidna

It is this afternoon I need to feed the dogs so Toby will get some time to play then. He loves one of the dogs (which is also my favourite). He is a rescue dog that my parents drove to the other end of the state to pick up several years ago. He had a really rough start to life but now has the open space at my parents large property to run around on. He is a pretty awesome dog. The other two are escape artists so spend a fair bit of the day in their own yard. It is a pretty cool yard though - all covered, fenced and they have their own shed to sleep in.

I really hope you can get your second sunmission sorted before breakfast but if you need more sleep then that is important too. Are you heading to church this morning or does the uni work take precedent today?
