Thanks @Faith-and-Hope, how's your adventure going? Is there a particular thread your putting updates? A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Hadn't thought to start a new thread ....

In transit again today and have to go again now .... found a brief moment with wifi .... will catch you later and answer the above.

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope 💕🌹😁 How did you go with your visual diary work? Get all done that you needed to?

@Former-Member I did not watch Ash play but will hopefully be able to watch it tonight. She has a really good chance to win in the final but whether she does or not it is still great for women's tennis to have her doing so well.

It is great that your Raiders won too. I don't expect Parra to win this week but do expect my Lions to win - coming up against Carlton in Melbourne will be harder than some expect though so I also expect it to be a close game - just hoping my boys do not take it too easy and continue to pile on the pressure that has been so much part of their game this year.

I do know I have support from so many here Hon - especially from you when you can. I do expect the next couple of weeks I will be absent from here quite a bit - still a lot I need to deal with in regards to the forum but that will take time. It is however you and a few others that are keeping me here at present - I can't support others as I used to as I honestly have nothing left to give and that is affecting me also.

I hear you about tricky appointments - they can take so much out of us. You also have so much going on for you at home so I fully understand why you have needed time to yourself. Always thinking about you though Hon and hoping you find a little peace in your days

Re: Far and Away

Thank you @Former-Member ..... they are beautiful words, and they are the way I feel about everyone else here ... we all have our strengths and weaknesses ..... and strengtgs can become a weakness, and weaknesses become strengths ...... life sort of teaches us that, and how it all fits together like jigsaw puzzles ...

We are all special.

We are all enough .....

I will be on the move again on Monday. I have deadlines racing at me from all directions. Some are negotiable, and (not ideal) can be worked on on the move, owing to the wonders of technology. Others need to be seen to before I go, so that is where my focus is.

I re-packed my case overnight. Summer, which we are heading to, is not my best season ..... and the sort of clothing I need to take I haven’t worn for a while. I needed to try it all on and make sure it a) fitted and b) all worked together for all seasons and all the cccasions we are likely to meet. It was the first chance I had had at that sort of headspace.

The house move has basically happened, but the new space is much smaller, with much less storage space. Problem. Need to downsize, like, yesterday ...... with no time to commit to doing it. D1 is organising it, and has done one hellava job, but there are things I was depending on taking that so can’t locate, and they might not be unpacked yet, amongst mountains of boxes .....

Running in very little sleep here, but my day and night are going to be flipped shortly anyway, so the next couple of days are really about doing all I can manage, and then flying with that.

Something will work out. I am hoping that that something includes finding the missing things ..... but J have looked almost everywhere. Some things are still back at our old house, so I might see if they haven’t been moved yet. I don’t have time to shop for new ones, and I wouldn’t know where to start looking.

Well, that’s my news for the moment. I am going to have to find moments to nap. Three and a half hours sleep is not enough for everything I still need to do.

Re: Far and Away

I have only managed one more visual diary task at the moment @Zoe7 . I had a spill of ink in transit which has ruined my reference sheet. I have access to it online, but no wifi and no access to a printer. I will have to count how many tasks are left, and count them down, but if they spill over into the trip, I can still submit them until Wednesday ..... just not ideal to be trying to juggle that in with everything and everybody else.

We will be flying directly back to the east on our return, so these few days are all I have with the western dragons. Different for me. He is flying back a week later than the rest of us, with mil, and via here .....

Re: Far and Away

Oh that sucks @Faith-and-Hope I was really hoping you could get it all finished before you go as the trip itself is going to difficult for you

Spend as much time as you can with your western baby dragons - that is super important for you Hon. You know I miss you when you are not here but your family comes first and knowing you have a little time with them is just as important to me as you being here. I hold you close in my heart and that means the world to me

I ended up going to the shop last night and have done a couple of loads of washing already. I have a little more energy than I expected this morning so trying to get things done early. My Lions play today so the more I can get done before the game the more I may be able to enjoy watching it today. Last weekend I found no joy in watching my teams play - and they all won - that is a pretty good indication of where I am at but baby steps still happening so that is a positive.

How are you feeling today? Have those detox symptoms passed?

In response to: Re: Far and Away

Re: Far and Away

Yes, detox symptoms passed, showing that that is what they were, which is good in the sense that I am one bout of detox healthier now ..... part of my physical recovery from all this.

If I can finalise my packing, which I can’t do after I leave 😜 I can focus on the uni stuff next.

In response to: Re: Far and Away

Re: Far and Away

haha yes a bit hard to finalise packing after you leave @Faith-and-Hope

Concentrate n getting that done first then tackle what you can with your uni work. I will be having everything crossed for you Hon that you can complete as much as possible before you leave.

Pleased to hear those symptoms have passed and that you are not getting sick before you go away.

Re: Far and Away

Thanks @Zoe7 🌷

@Former-Member I see you there too 💕

Hi @BlueBay 👋💕

I have been dropping Supports your way Hon, but yes, missing chatting with you too .....

We are going away, and as has become our usual, it’s a collision of events and I am juggling madly trying to tie it all together, and keep it all as calm as possible.

We will be returning to uni studies shortly after returning, and moving house at the same time, it looks like .....
