A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

Hi @eth ... enjoy your time on the farm. I miss farm life very much. I grew up on a farm and spent most of my life on one, but left about 10 years ago. Although we still live on acreage, its not the same as a remote farm.

@Faith-and-Hope ... well done on the packing! One less thing to worry about and will enable you to concentrate on all those other things you still need to do. So nice and a big relief to be able to tick things off the to-do list.

@Zoe7 The giraffe rescue project sounds like a big plus, for you and your school class. How I wish there were teachers around like you when I was at school. Also, it may have gone unnoticed in the excitement of Ash Barty's overnight win ... but Dylan Alcott also won overnight. What a champ!

Hello to everyone visiting this thread today. Sending loving thoughts and kind wishes to you all.

Re: Far and Away

Didn’t make it to church, but where I am going there are church services every day of the week anyway, so I will attend one later in the week.

I realised this morning that a whole heap of my Photoshop slides have a wrong number in their file name. At one point I accidentally bumped a number out of place, so all the slides ongoing from there have the wrong number in them. And all the slides have a spelling mistake in their file name ..... that tells me how tired I was when I was producing them. It’s okay, and an easy enough fix, just time consuming.

Re: Far and Away

I did see this morning that Dylan Alcott won as well - such a wonderful night for Aussie tennis @Former-Member

I have made it to the tip and washed out the trailer ready to pick up the giraffe this afternoon when I go up to feed the dogs. It will be nice to have it at home so I can fix the leg and then take it into work. The kids have seen photos of it but it will be great for them to see it in person.

I don't need to go for a few hours yet so hoping to get a little more cleaning up done around the house. Then tomorrow I can do the planning and assessing I need to get done this week. If I can spend most of tomorrow doing that then I will be ahead of what needs to be done this week.

How is you Sunday looking so far?

Re: Far and Away

Oh @Faith-and-Hope that is not what you needed though so close to going away. I am really feeling for you right now Hon - but you do chaos so well and all my thoughts are with you to get on top of all this.

My positive for today is that I have been to the tip and the giraffe can now be picked up ...finally. It will give me something to do while you are away as well - filling in my time will be important so the days go quickly until you are back. I think working fulltime has come at a good time for me too - less time to think! I know I have pdoc this week and that is always hard ...and the next day is usually hard too because I tend not to be able to sleep well. Maybe it being a later appointment might help too as I will have less time afterwards to think and can head to sleep soon after if I need to.

It would have been good if you had made it to church just to see people you know but I understand with all that you still need to do that you have to set priorities - great that there are services where you are going that you can attend every day and therefore can go when you can
