Just a quick visit .... I notice that notifications are not working again too. I didnt see the two posts you posted last night until just now @Faith-and-Hope .

What a delightful picture! Just beautiful, and very symbolic ... and I know @Zoe7 will love it too.

Anyway ... I am thinking of you both, as always, with affection and concern. @Zoe7 I know its going to be a difficult time for you when @Faith-and-Hope heads overseas next week. And I also know that you and she have a particularly strong connection. But just know that you have many others here who would do anything in our power to help in any way we can. In fact we all WANT to help, as you have helped all of us so many times.

@Faith-and-Hope the last time you were away you were still able to activate the support button ... has that now changed? I know it was a great comfort to Zoe while you were away for that month overseas, to still have that knowledge of a distant connection through the support button. How long will you be away this time? If you end up moving house .. gosh what a busy time ahead of you!

Gotta go ... just wanted to touch base.

Hi @Zoe7 have you tried having a sustagen drink - they have helped friends of mine at times when they couldn't eat. I just know how much it can ground you if you can have at least something. Or bananas are good too. And making sure you stay hydrated. Just concerned about you my friend. Lots of love, Eth xx

Hey there @Former-Member thanks so much for your kind words toward @Zoe7, very true in @Faith-and-Hope 's absense there are many peers within this space who are supporting of @Zoe7, as with many of our members her kindness and congruence does not go unnoticed. It is so wonderful to see the bond some of you share with one another and the endless compassion you share in the recovery journey, we understand it can't be easy when your forum friends are absent for periods of time.

Regarding the support button - this is an ongoing tech error we are trying to remedy. It is a part of the forum policy that members do not utilise the service when they are travelling overseas for a range of reasons that align with our duty of care framework. Even though it might seem a very simple request, perhaps even a nice connection to the other member, we have seen instances where use of the support button by an overseas member can be disruptive to the community still in Australia.

We'd encourage members not to action the support button whilst traveling, but instead focus on offering that incredible support once back home after their time off 🙂

I am so glad a strength of Community Guides and Community Elders is developing here ..... it’s so wonderful to feel

your presence when the chips are down ..... and many other forumites are gaining confidence ...: and those support skills to care, share and listen ..... to be our forum future.

I will miss the interactions of the forums while I am away, but I am only one member ...... and it’s good to know you are all here for each other. In the hard moments when I need picking up, I will sit and read your posts to each other.
