Far and Away

A couple of them wouldn’t load via the USB @Zoe7 ..,.... that was what I was trying to get sorted in the library just now ..... but loading and labelling the slides is still only part of the overall process. I have had to create or fix a few more, where things I hoped would work out right haven’t quite ..... but we have to earn this accreditation ..... lol. They won’t just give it to us .... so all the challenges go with the territory I am afraid.

But I tell you what, we have learned heeeeeaps in such a short time this way. The challenges are big, and they walk us carefully through the steps, then throw another big challenge at us. It’s a big buzz when we achieve something that looked really daunting to begin with.

It will be wonderful for you to finish it all and get the accreditation for it at the end. Nothing in life is easy hey - but you are doing it and that is awesome

I have actually managed to put the tv on tonight. Not really watching it but haven't even been able to concentrate on even that for the last few days. Missed most of both my footy teams playing as well over the weekend and didn't even care that they all won. Maybe I can start getting a little more pleasure out of those things in time.

They are very tiny steps @Faith-and-Hope I still can't eat and just want to sleep but trying to put that off for a little while so I can actually make it to bed tonight. I really need my teeth out and can't get anymore pain killers this week because of my changed GP appointment - I was really relying on that appointment to do that and get more antibiotics if I needed. The top one is still hurting with hot or cold things and making it very difficult to chew anything. I can't believe I need to wait another week for all that but I am sure once my GP is back she will fit me in if it is too bad later in the week. When you ring to make an appointment it goes to a central place and not directly to the surgery I attend - that is the down side of this place - but I can still call her directly (or text) and I'm sure she would sort it that way. Might even need to go into the surgery to see what I can do before she gets back. Too much to deal with at the moment.

There will be some sort of emergency care available to you @Zoe7 ..... whether your doctor organises some meds for you to pick up from the surgery or a pharmacy, or attending somewhere else, perhaps with your sister or mum, as a one off. There is also your dentist who can organise emergency meds for you, including AB’s I think .....

Dentist is away this week too that is why I couldn't get in this week @Faith-and-Hope My GP will be back Thursday so I can call into the surgery after work to see if she can see me that afternoon or Friday afternoon.

We have a special event on at school Thursday from 5.30 to 7.30 but not sure I will go to that - not in a place for socialising or seeing parents. Can't commit to helping because I just don't know how I will be then. Probably need to just stick to what I can (and have to) do - work, sleep and try to eat - everything else needs to be avoided methinks.
