Far and Away

I know this is just a piece of my trivia, but I hope you find it a little distracting .....

Guess who double-numbered one of her Photoshop slides a few nights ago at 2am ? Same gal who had to go back through 153 slides renaming them tonight ...... it sorta feels like writing lines ...... “I will pay more attention when naming my Photoshop slides ...... I will pay more attention when I am naming my Photoshop slides .....”

I am learning so much though, and I am pleased with this assignment, even if it’s a bit wonky ..... I am a beginner-ish after all.

Oh @Faith-and-Hope That is super annoying - so much work to re-do. I can fully understand how it happened though doing it so late and you must have been tired. It's all done now though so well done you 💕

I am having to take screen-grab of all the slides and label them now @Zoe7. There are a lot of students in our year group, all doing Photoshop, all with hundreds of slides in this assignment, so the screen grabs have to be submitted as part of the final product to show our working out without crashing the server.

Its sort of like doing maths in a way ..... I have no idea how silly that may sound ..... because there is working out and problem solving in the layers, and we have to show that working out process.

It makes complete sense @Faith-and-Hope Like fitting the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle together with many people contributing/responsible for a small part each.

I am up to slide 54 now .....

I want to finish this tonight, but it is a bit of a slog .... so repetitive .... but you’re right, I am getting there .....

Something else I forgot to do was label the layers as I went, which our teacher warned us about early on, because all the repeated slides are then with labelled layers ..... so guess who has another big fix-it job under way along with the sceeen-grabs ....... 👋 (< clue)

It’s making a lousy job more enjoyable.

We have learned so much in Photoshop this year. It is a bit daunting because each week has been challlenging. Now they have thrown us in the deep end and asked us to make something on our own .... so I am bumbling around in here, trying to remember processes from weeks ago and not wanting to go an look them up again ...... so I am trialling-and-erroring my way forward, and got so distracted I forgot to label the layers ..... 😏

It certainly would be challenging learning something completely new to you @Faith-and-Hope but I have no doubt you will get it all done. Bumbling your way through it is how you do it if that is what it takes.
