A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

thanks you for your understanding @Faith-and-Hope , it really helps. I was proud of my effort yesterday at volunteering, I kept positive, probably due to an increase in night meds so that's really good. I hope you're having a good day today & feeling a bit better. Hi @Former-Member @Zoe7 hope you're stravelling ok today. I'm getting my car serviced today which always makes me nervous but have just got the call it'll be ready to collect at 4pm so I feel more calm now knowing that's in place.

Goodmorning @Faith-and-Hope How was your evening Hon?

Hi @Zoe7 .... 👋💕

It was okay-ish. I found the movie a bit hard to manage, but not so much that I needs to walk out. Had D2 averting her eyes a lot though.

Re: Far and Away

Oh that sounds a bit heavy @Faith-and-Hope and not the ideal family night. I've had my own movie playing out here with the two dogs - Toby is a jealous little bugger

Dog will be picked up in about an hour so normal programming shall resume - then I have to go out and do a little shopping but that shouldn't take long.

What is on the agenda for you today?

Re: Far and Away

The movie was along the super-hero lines @Zoe7, but I just looked it up, and the profucer likes working in the horror genre ..... I found his “balance” between horror and humour (black humour) a bit hard to take, especially with the use of shock in

there too .... the kids knew which parts I didn’t like.

I am glad to have a quiet day planned. I haven’t been to my coffee shop for a few days, so I will start with that. S2 and D3 have decided to hang out with D2 this morning, so that will give me a bit of free time to get some work done with head space.

I am hoping for a nap this afternoon. Mr was moving about earlyish this morning, so I didn’t manage a sleep in.

As much as you love Dog, I can hear that you are ready to have your space back.

Re: Far and Away

Not a movie I would like then Hon - not into 'black humour' at all and definitely not into horror. It sounds like it was quite uncomfortable for you and hope it doesn't have any lasting effects today.

You have a pretty quiet day planned. It is nice of S2 and Visual to be spending that time with D2 to give you a break too @Faith-and-Hope Hopefully you can spend some time at the coffee place and then get some work done. I suspect you will be snoozing when I am watching the footy this afternoon. Pretty chuffed at how well my boys have been going but today it is in Melbourne and that is a tougher ask.

Yes I am just about ready for Dog to go home. He is snoring away atm so the madness of the morning has passed. He really is a good dog - more Toby getting jealous when I was playing with him earlier and me being super tired having gotten up so early. I'll try to have a nap after I do the shopping then get up for the footy.

I haven't told you but I interrupted the DBT group on Wednesday when they were getting carried away with something that I found quite offensive. I was really quite proud of myself for speaking up and they all stopped when I did. The facilitator made sure the conversation that was happening stopped as well and then saw me afterwards to see if I was okay. It wasn't anything really big but there were several people talking about a group in society in what I see as a derogatory way and I do find that offensive. They did apologise and I hope they think more about what was being said and change that in the future - can only hope I suppose.

Re: Far and Away

Changed my plans for this morning ..... while the kids were going to occupy thenselves I thought I would go with my mr. to The Coffee Place .... thinking that would be simple ....
