A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

A bit worried about you too @Shaz51 You have so much on your plate and are trying to be strong for everyone else but have no time out for yourself. I know it is hard when there is so much going on but you also need to look after yourself my sister and you certainly have enough of your own health issues to deal with. It is good that you may have someone to help with doing your mum's garden - that would be one thing off your mind but you also need some time just for you.

Re: Far and Away

that is why @Faith-and-Hope wants me to talk to my kidney specialist tomoorow about carer`s burnout @Zoe7

yes the physio and myaged care worker has seen my mum in hospital about getting added help -- mum said "oh my daughter (me ) does that "

Re: Far and Away

You need to step in there then Hon and get that care organised for your mum - it is essential that you pull back a little on what you do for your mum. Some of it can be done by outside help - you can still look after her in some ways but you can't sustain what you have been doing and look after Mr. Shaz and yourself too @Shaz51 You will still be in your mum's life - that won't change but running around for her, trying to work and look after everyone else is definitely taking a toll on you ...and if you are not in a good place then you can't take care of anyone. You need to look after you first to be able to help out with everyone else

Hi @Shaz51 @Zoe7 @Faith-and-Hope

Yes losing your garden would have been tough @Faith-and-Hope

I saw your writing about that, on the other thread.

I know that I would feel totally lost (& hemmed in), without my garden.

It's rather hot here, or is it just me....

Sorry I've been rather quiet on the forums - I've been very tired, unable to write much.

I'm trying to remain calm, & not panic too much - going in for the surgery Wednesday (the day after tomorrow), at 10.30am WST.

I will be thinking of everyone here, as soon as I'm awake enought to think (after surgery).

I will have to read posts from Mobile phone, if phone reception is okay.

Re: Far and Away

I hope you got your photoshop homework done @Faith-and-Hope and are home now ready to settle in for the night. I am off to bed soon - feeling exhausted tonight still. It is a later day for me tomorrow so need the rest so I can get through it. Do you have anything planned for tomorrow?

Re: Far and Away

Not home yet @Zoe7 , but nearly .... stopped to rest. Visual was overtired and hissy, so I let her tram it, and I walked.

Sleep well Hon .... and I hope you have a lovely day tomorrow.
