Hi @Faith-and-Hope Hope you have had a good day at uni. I am glad to be home this afternoon - just a long day - a lot of sitting around after recess and not a lot of actual working with the kids - but some days are like that. Tomorrow will be a busier day though.

What have you been doing today - is it photoshop day?

Photography day today @Zoe7 . We went on an excursion with cameras. It was great.

This afternoon was drawing class. Visual starts and finishes later than me, so I am working on the library, waiting to walk home with her.

Sounds like you have had a really good day @Faith-and-Hope That is wonderful to hear. It is so lovely of you to wait for Visual as well - some mum and daughter time also before you get home. It is really great that Visual is getting herself to uni and attending classes. Is she enjoying the course as much as you have?

You certainly have had some of those hot days lately @Faith-and-Hope and they are wearing. Today was only mid 20s here today and it was really pleasant. Yesterday wasnt as hot as Saturday when it hit 40. Hopefully Visual will get a good night's sleep tonight.

Its Photoshop homework I am working on, so I better get on with it again before I mess something up lol .... will be back later.

Am heading west this weekend for a long weekend with Daut1. I have been chatting in another thread to someone about the garden I have left behind. Here is yet another chance to take photos of it for an eventual painting ..... feels so far and away ..... I have to keep reminding myself of what I have gained in moving here, cos it’s still so heartsore ....

Sometimes those losses cannot be replaced though @Faith-and-Hope You have lost a lot over the last year Hon and your are allowed to grieve those losses. It is hard to uproot your whole life and move it to another state. I know you have gained the uni course and your baby dragons are now attending classes but you still have those pieces of your life missing - like your homw and garden ...as well as being away from the rest of your family. I hoe this long weekend with D1 is lovely for you both. She needs as much support as you can give her right now and she will no doubt love having her mum there with her.

Sending you some hugs and a little inspiration to get this photoshop homework done. I will look out for you later and if I need to head to bed will let you know as usual
