A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

I have a couple of movie vouchers to use but cannot use at present because of my back @Faith-and-Hope I hope you and D2 enjoyed the movie.

Cat used to like Jay - if she didn't like something she would not eat it. She was pretty fussy - would only eat a couple of brands of food.

Let me know how your dr's app. goes Hon ❤️

A quick trip to officeworks for me this evening so I can finish putting some things together and make room for painting 👍🌞

Re: Far and Away

Hey @Faith-and-Hope I managed to get outside this afternoon and do a couple of things. I was really careful and did not over do it but it was a good feeling to be able to get to some things I have had to put off with my back. The only down side was I cracked my head on the bike handle when I was cleaning up 😒 The bike is okay lol

How has your day been?

Re: Far and Away

Oh dear @Zoe7 …. While I am glad the bike is okay, I would have wished a better outcome for you ❣️

Dr apt was for referrals. I have / have had conditions that require annual reviews. The shite storm meant that I haven’t been as vigilant as I ought to have been, but it’s all part of the collateral damage fully intended by the ex …. grrrr …., have to sign off on all that though and just pick up the right patterns again - healing and restoration.

Caught up with a dear friend this morning after a special church service. She is arty too, and a real joy. I have bought one of her paintings.

This afternoon has been baking, cooking and a handwork project, along with dozing off and probably snoring through an historical documentary about 17th century life in rural UK.

Jay has been hanging out with me 😊

Movie with D2 was good 👍. I hope to do that again soon.

Re: Far and Away

I'm okay @Faith-and-Hope A nice lump and a bit of a headache but manageable. I iced it straight away so I think that helped.

Healing and restoration sounds good Hon. Not easy with a/hole doing what he does but focussing on what you can do and need to do for yourself in amongst it all is the best you can do in a shitty situation.

So lovely to hear about your time with your friend 💕

Talking of cats - Clover has been following me and Toby everywhere - I cannot take a step without a fur baby being by my side. It is super cute though. She even tried to help me paint this afternoon lol Toby was laying next to me and she just walked past him. I have the most special fur babies 🐶🐱 Give Jay a cuddle from me too - and one for yourself 💕

Going to be up much later than I intended but watching the tennis and enjoying it.

Re: Far and Away

Glad to hear you are watching the tennis and enjoying it @Zoe7 😊

I am heading to bed “early”. The full-on year behind me is showing its effects, but it feels more normal to be getting tired at a normal time of night, and struggling to wake up and get out of bed in the morning, and getting hungry between meals. Think my body system is working itself out progressively, finding its equilibrium.

G’night Hon. Happy tennis-watching ❣️

Re: Far and Away

The tennis was great despite Australia not going through to the final tonight @Faith-and-Hope

I stayed up to watch it all and although I was disappointed they did not go through, they all played so well.

Been out to the chemist today and done a little more of my papier mache bunny for my kid at school. I was going to head outside to do a few more things but I woke with a headache and a bit achy (both have gotten better as the day has gone on) so I think it is best I rest for the remainder of today. I may do a little more sorting of files and watch some of a series I have been watching then will settle in for the cricket tonight.

You have had to endure so much Hon so it will take time for your body and mind to find that equilibrium. I tend to be up later whilst on holidays but need to also be careful not to get into a bad routine otherwise it will be hard when I go back to work.

👋💕 @Zoe7 @Emelia8 …..

All out of energy here. I have been trying to get back into my uni work today ….. nearly finished, but have crashed for the moment. It’s late in the day, but I might need to nap anyway. No stuffing.

Re: Far and Away

I hope you have rested and feel a bit better today @Faith-and-Hope

Fur babies are letting me sleep in a bit and it is cute waking up with them both next to me.

Going to do some work today inside as it is raining so all the outside things will need to wait - which is probably a good thing so I don't over do it.

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Emelia8 💕 Thinking of you often …..

@Zoe7 That would be cute, waking up with two fur babies next to you. I sometimes wake up to one ….. but he sleeps all over the house except during high winds or storms 😏

Yes, circumstance often supports us in what we need re self-care. I hope you have a relaxing indoor day, and there are lovely smells and sounds of rain wafting in to you from outside.
