LOL @Faith-and-Hope Toby did that job for me 🤣 Clover had more fun running around the house and then adjourning to her space outside whilst I cleaned them up.

As expected, both had me up early to get their breakfast. I will probably have a nap later (maybe a couple of naps throughout the day 👍) but I also want to get some things done today also before I settle in for a late afternoon/evening of sport watching. Both the Hurricanes (cricket) and Jack Jumpers (basketball) play at the same time so I will have one on tv and one on the laptop - then tennis this evening. I am a sport tragic - especially when my teams are playing.

On a personal note - thank you Hon for always being here for me. I know this past year has been incredibly tough for you and you have not been able to be on here a lot ...but I know you are thinking of us here as we are you. You occupy a very special place in my life and in my heart and I truly value you and our friendship so much. I hope this coming year brings the end of all the sh#te and life can begin to improve in a very positive way for you. You deserve the world and all the happiness it can bring. Love ya 💕

@Faith-and-Hope "Operation - clean up beans" is complete (for now lol). I have also 'rescued' the teddies and pillow pets off the clothesline and tucked them away in the hibernation of big garbage bags to store in the spare room until school goes back (at least until I can go in and drop them off). Bean bag covers now swinging happily on the line and then they too will go into hibernation (with beans back in them so there will no doubt be another major bean bag beans clean up needed lol).

I have a few more things to get cleaned and dried but I will wait until next week as it is supposed to rain here over the next few days and they will need a few days to dry - the rug may need more unless I wait until we have some warmer weather.

The house is clean though so that was a nice way to start the new year. I am going to get some painting out today as I have time and space now to get into it (and the motivation). I have had my peacock painting sitting in the spare room for over a year but really wanting to get into it. It has taken time but I know the direction I want to take now so that is positive.

Thank you so much for the beautiful personal note @Zoe7 . The feelings are entirely mutual. We, and many others here, have hauled together for a long time now (👋💕 @Shaz51 - you too)

and our special bonds have formed, swimming or floating through thick and thin.

Baby dragon returned @Zoe7 so I had to post and go. I do think of you all here, and we travel with each other through the day, I think, whether on forum or not. We have become comrades-in-arms for life 😏 and it helps to sustain us all …. the feeling of not being alone, and sharing each other’s bubbles.

Loved hearing about the errant beans, with more to come - lol. Jay is very curious about all the prep I am starting towards moving house again soon, sticking his furry nose into everything, and he has started sleeping beside me again. He knows something is changing.

They definitely know when things are different @Faith-and-Hope It did not take Toby long to realise I would be home in the middle of the day and to bark at the door when I got home. Before that, if I had been home at lunch time, he would still be asleep on his bed, so they pick up on changes quickly. I hope you are getting plenty of Jay cuddles and he is okay with all the changes happening.

I no longer pick up Clover to take to bed when I go - she just comes in and walks over the top of us herself lol. Toby occasionally chases her off but most times he just picks his head up as if to say 'you again' lol and then goes back to sleep. She is the cutest little thing and I am so lucky to have them both.

I did not have a good night and have woken with more pain than I have had for a few weeks. I did want to go out and do some shopping today but I think now I will just go to the couple of places I need to go to and leave the rest for another day. I won't take Tobes so I can try to get a park close to the entries so I don't have to walk far. If I took Tobes then I would need to park further away under cover. I do need to wait for the pain killers to kick in though as at present I would struggle to drive even the short distance I need to go.

I am so much better this afternoon @Faith-and-Hope I even went out and got the few things I needed - the rest can wait. About to head to Kmart to get some beans so I can refill the last bean bag. The kitchen looked like it had been snowing indoors lol - but all clean for now.

I have taken D2 out to see a movie while we can @Zoe7 . Have to get back to finishing my studies now and other bd’s are all away now. Dr. apt next for this afternoon, then shopping, then home to a little cat who doesn’t like the dinner choice he has and is therefore dragging his meals out all day and night ….. lol. I won’t buy those cans again, but I am insisting on him finishing the ones I’ve already got.
