A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Hey @Zoe7. We're here somewhere lovely, with a little Tank 😊

Wondering how your day is going?

(Please let me know if you'd prefer I posted to you somewhere else - so many places I could go!).

Re: Far and Away

Posting on this thread is good @CheerBear I love the fact that I have your support and that @Faith-and-Hope can read along as well - keeps her close and up to date with things happening

My day is pretty much a right-off. I have slept most of the day. I did get to the garage and cleaned up what was needed from doing the roof yesterday but need to move a few things and need help to do that. Going to call my sister later and ask if she can help move things tomorrow then I can get to Bunnings and get what I need for the wall. I was going to go to another couple of places first to see what they have but I have Bunnings gift cards so will go straight there - I know they have what I need also.

No interactions with fb friend today but I haven't been on there mysef - checked in this morning but didn't send a message to him - will check back in tonight and see how he is going then. Will keep you updated though

I might need to head out to the shop later but really hoping I don't need to - see how I go in a couple of hours. I know the Hurricanes play tonight so will try to stay awake for that - hoping it is another good game. Not even sure who we are playing - should check tht out soon ...just did that - we are playing the Melbourne Renegades so should be a great game.

@Faith-and-Hope I noticed you were up super early so hoping you are okay - so wish you could post and let us know how you are going. Very much looking forward to when you are back in Oz and can share with us again.

Re: Far and Away

Sorry to hear it's a write off day @Zoe7, though sometimes they're well timed especially after big 'garage roof is getting done' kind of days. Hope sister can help tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing that the garage and wall are finished for you!

Do you think you'll be able to/ready to set some plans with friend tonight or tomorrow?

I've been watching quite a bit of the cricket. I enjoyed it lots throughout my earlier life (i enjoyed hanging out with cricket club boys a bit for a while too haha). I had some time out from sports after the big bang as I found it all too much. Friend is a huge sports fan and slowly I've been getting back into it all (I even watched a couple of games of footy again last year!). He supports a different football team so I've jumped on in as a Stars supporter in the cricket so we have one team in common. Have a Renegades fan here so we might watch it, depending on kids and movies. Your Hurricanes are doing so well and I've enjoyed each game of theirs I've seen.

Re: Far and Away

Honestly @CheerBear today I don't feel like moving from the couch so not in any headspeace to agree to a meeting with friend. I have had to treat today as a total rest day - even just the little bit of cleaning up I did was taxing. Just layed down for some Toby snuggles and fell asleep again - really not sure I'll get through the game tonight.

Re: Far and Away

Hugs @Zoe7. You sound tired and a bit flat maybe. Glad you were able to rest today qs it sounds you really needed it ❤

Re: Far and Away

Very tired and a probably a bit flatter than I wanted to admit @CheerBear - can barely keep my eyes open this afternoon - think yesterday took too much out of me. It was a big job and I have to remember I moved a lot of stuff in the morning as well - so probably did too much physical work and my body is not liking that today. Going to settle in for the night now and wait for the cricket to begin.

@Faith-and-Hope I see you there also Hon and know you are reading along

Re: Far and Away

I had a feeling that might be the case @Zoe7. Is Toby with you waiting for the cricket? I have a photo of a Tank that's forum shareable. Would love for you to 'meet' him if you'd like to 😊 We just went for a little drive. No I'm not a dog person at all 😉😍

Re: Far and Away

I would love to meet Tank @CheerBear and I can say that I was never a dog person until I got one lol - bet that will be the case with you too 😮 Toby is indeed right next to me - he doesn't care about the cricket and prefers to sleep - don't think I will be too far from joining him tonight. Hurricanes haven't started well so it could be an early night for them too.
