You have had a tough week @Shaz51 I can't believe you and Mr. Shaz were not invited to SIL birthday

You are doing all you possibly can for your Mum and your cousin should stay out of it if they aren't willing to help too - that kind of judgement is not what you need my sister

You are doing all the right things with your diabetes and CKD @Shaz51 but I can imagine staying on top of all that as well as everything else you are dealing with is draining.

@Faith-and-Hope I saw you were around earlier but I missed you in real time.

My roof is getting done tomorrow but I need to do a lot of prep before that can happen - wrote about it on ANC so won't go through it all again as I know you will read there too

It is going to be great to finally have it done as it means I can get other things sorted too afterwards.

My sister started pulling out weeds for me while she was here and said she will do some more tomorrow - it is so nice of her to help - I can't seem to get on top of it all and it is getting out of control so any help I can get I will happily accept.

I have been feeling really flat and very tired today so haven't done much at all - had a couple of naps and some snuggle time with Toby which helped. I was treating today as a complete rest day but with the news that my garage roof is going to get done finally it has lifted my spirits a little. Not looking forward to all the moving I will have to do but grateful that I will have help to do that too.

Going to settle in on the couoch for the night and hope it isn't too long before I am sleepy and can head to bed.

Hoping you are doing okay and everyone is treating you well. Still missing you but sending you all my best thoughts and loads of hugs

@Faith-and-Hope @CheerBear It is offically 'garage roof finally getting done' day - yes I am naming it that lol I can't wait for it to be finally done - I am feeling a bit like a kid in a candy store knowing it will finally get done and I can then get the rest of thegarage sorted out.

It took some time for me to get to sleep - had to get up once but then the second time I tried I fell asleep pretty quickly - must have been that the meds hadn't quite kicked in.

Not a lot to report this morning but today is likely to be quite hectic with everything that needs to be done so no doubt I will have things to post about later.

I do expect to be very tired after today @CheerBear but it will be a good tired knowing that I have achieved something that I have been waiting to get done for some time.

It actually sounds like a lovely day for you getting out and doing something with the LF @CheerBear - hope though it is not too taxing on you and they behave themselves.

I know my sister is worried that I may do too much today as I looked really tired yesterday - and I was. It was a very flat day where I did feel pretty exhausted all day. I suspect it will take me a couple of days to recover after today but that is okay because a big job will be done.

My sister and I used to be very close years ago but it has only been more recently that we have really re-connected in this way. I think having Toby has been a great influence in that re-connection. She loves him and he loves her and we spend a lot of time together with our dogs. In a funny way me being unwell has also help - although she doesn't know what I have been going through she does know I have been very unwell and has helped as much as she can over the last year or so. It has also been partly because I have accepted her offers to help and she also gives me space when I am tired ...she usually recognises that in me too.

I think a few of us here had a flat and tired day yesterday - hoping today picks up for you a bit @CheerBear
