Do not overdo it. I will not use power tools cos of my neck. All exercise has to be healing and its great if it is functional and helps me get things done. I just love being around women who will do this kind of thing, as in the old days many did not try. My new neighbour is amazing too.

Haven't finished the step yet @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Appleblossom @Former-Member @Eve7 but the part I needed for my phone turned up and I have fixed that. Have been without it for a few days - which has actually been nice - but glad to have it fixed and working again. The new lock for my trailer also turned up so I can cut off the old one, visit the tip and put on the new one ...but that is a job for another day.

Going to spend some time resting now then do some more school work. How is everyone else going this afternoon?

When do you return to work?

D goes back Monday and then S goes back Tuesday. I cannot believe D is in year 12 this year. It has gone so quickly.

I am at the airport waiting for my flight.

We go back a week from Monday @Snowie So I have a bit of time to try to catch up and get organised. Monday and Wednesday are out for me as I have the dentist then my car in to be serviced ...so that day I will spend at my parents' helping my Mum as it is close to where they live. Hopefully I can pick up the jackhammer on Monday and return it Wednesday but it is a pretty big job so I may need more than a day.

I can't believe D is in year 12 either - just seems like yesterday she was starting High School 😔 She is a credit to you though Hon ...I read somewhere she has a leadership role this year (still trying to catch up on everyone's news) so that is wonderful.

Glad you still have some time off @Zoe7 Hopefully you can get some more work done but have some time to yourself too. I am sure your fur babies are loving you be at home.

She has got a leadership role this year. She is one of about 6 out of her whole year level so am super proud of her. They have an assembly in a few weeks where she gets presented. I am hoping I am not in hospital for that, I really want to be able to go.

She already has decided what university she wants to go to after school.

Wow that is impressive @Snowie I hope you are not in hospital either but if you are I am sure she will understand. She seems to be one switched on and wise girl and that is a credit to you. Kids don't just get to that point on their own so you should also be proud of yourself as despite everything you have been through, you have also brought up one amazing girl.

Thanks @Zoe7 I don't normally brag much about her! She doesn't like me to put these things on facebook so have to be careful about what I post.

She certainly is not like me, she takes after her Dad in a lot of ways. I didn't have a clue what I wanted to do when I was her age.
