On Holidays and been to the shops every day this week , crazy forget something or something else happens unexpectedly and you are running out to things

Yep that's me too @Shaz51 . I forget 1 thing so have to go back. UGH.

I have made a (quite extensive) list @Shaz51 so think I have everything covered. No doubt there will be one or two things I have forgotten but will see.

That would be frustrating @Zoe7 - especially when you ordered the present six weeks ago. I understand when you say your dad will be okay but it is disappointing for you. Hopefully it will come in the not to distant future - you've doing well having a backup present. I'm never that organised.

Yes, I really hate parking at the shops at this time of year. So many people seem agitated and impatient. I think I will go at 8.30am tomorrow and get in and out as soon as I can. Hopefully we will both do well tomorrow with the parking and the shopping and get it over and done with early.

I'm always impressed with your skills around the home - you've helped inspire to tackle some things around my house that I wouldn't have typically taken on. Hopefully it's a cool day for you and you get it down quickly.

Christmas is at mine (always is lol) - at least that way when the visitors go home I can lay on the couch and enjoy what's rest of the day in peace 🙂

You're a braver person than me @hanami lol. My plan of attack at the shops any day of the year is get in before 11am or don't bother til after 3pm! You did well to not only do it at lunchtime but to also do it in a ute!

Totally understand why you won't be going back - I'm impressed when went in the first place!

It is disappointing @FloatingFeather but nothing I can do - if it isn't here, it isn't here. I will not tell my Dad what it is just in case it never arrives ...will be an extra surprise if it turns up soon.

I love that you are tackling some things at home too. Most things are not that hard if you have the time (and a certain amount of fine motor skills lol). I love working with my tools and I love making things so the home renos are perfect. I have the cutest little cottage but it does need work in every room as it is nearly 100 years old. I have been working gradually on the garden for years and would have done more if I could afford it. With interest rates the way they are now too it is getting harder to do much all at once ...so I keep buying things gradually to do jobs later on.

Off to cut the bricks now - then the paving will be nearly done ...need to sweep in the sand and mortar but won't do that today.

Holidays can be like that @Shaz51 - especially when the shops are closed for a couple of days and we maybe buying more things than usual. Plus (for me at least) there's always that unexpected person that gives you a present that you have to run out and get a present for!
