A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Yes thank goodness @tyme I only paid some of my bill yesterday for when Tobes had his teeth out ...now I have to re-do my budget to pay even more. There would be no Christmas presents for Tobes if I hadn't already bought them lol

As long as he’s safe and well, it’s worth it @Zoe7

Absolutely @tyme - would do anything for my baby 🐶💖 He is running amok tonight lol - so all good now. He will need a bath tomorrow though - his little white face is grey from the charcoal.

❤️ @Snowie …. 👋

Oh dear @Zoe7 😔❣️. So glad Tobes is ‘okay’, if a little worse for wear ….. glad too

that you managed to finish the year in good-enough form, especially considering the mountains you had to climb to get there. Time for a bit rest now …..

Hi to everyone / anyone else around 👋💕

Re: Far and Away

Yes made it @Faith-and-Hope ...but I still have some work to finish 😔 I am going to leave that until after my Mum's birthday then once it is done have a few weeks completely work free. My little boy is asleep next to me but I am keeping a close eye on him because he has been making puppy sounds - I hope it is just his usual dream state but I am of course still concerned after his exploits last night. I don't think I will get much sleep tonight.

How are you doing this evening? Have you regained a little energy today?

Thanks @Shaz51 💚

Re: Far and Away

Day 1 of holidays @Faith-and-Hope @tyme @Snowie @Former-Member @FloatingFeather and I have not stopped. I am definitely running on empty but still running 😔 Most things for Christmas are under control - just have to do the grocery shopping. I was going to do it this morning but there were so many people around that I came home. I am going to head outside for a while and concrete in one remaining edge of my path then have a nice long shower and head back out to see if it is less busy. Fortunately I do not have far to travel to the supermarket so if it is still hectic I will go early tomorrow morning instead.

How is everyone else?

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Zoe7,

Thanks for the tag - always lovely to hear from you 🙂.

You have done well to have sorted out most of the things you need to do for Christmas. I am typically pretty prepared but this year I have dropped the ball so there will be a lot of running around for me tomorrow!

I'll try to go to the shops first thing in the morning because I don't like the crowds much either. Plus fighting for a car space where I live isn't for the faint hearted.

Hope your holidays are relaxing and enjoyable!

Re: Far and Away

There is one thing that I ordered about 6 weeks ago that has not come @FloatingFeather - isn't it always the way 😔 It is for my Dad and typically he is the hardest to buy for so it is disappointing. I do have a back up present but it is more impersonal. I don't think Dad will mind ...but I will.

I hear you about the parking Hon - if I have to walk too far it makes it really hard on my back and legs so if I can ait to a less busy time it is much better.

I have managed to finish one side of the edging on my path. I have to cut some bricks to finish the other side so I might even do that today as I have more time than I anticipated this afternoon (have to get the bricks out of the car first and that is stopping me at present).

Are you having Christmas at your place or going elsewhere?

Re: Far and Away

@FloatingFeather I ducked up to Woolies when I had my lunch break. OH what a nightmare lol. And I had to take the husband's big ute because he has taken my car to his Christmas work lunch so I worked up quite a sweat getting it into a parking spot. Ergh.

All done now though, I'm not going back!
