Your home sounds so nice - how amazing that it is almost 100 years old. Slow and steady sounds like the right way to go with it - you must get such a sense of accomplishment doing things for yourself (plus saving some money in the process)!

@FloatingFeather The path is laid - just need to concrete in the edges and sweep in the sand and mortar ....but that is for another day. I am having a rest now before I finish cleaning everything up outside then it is onto the inside.

I know what you mean re : shopping. I'm leaving it until tommorow evening. Better late than never.

I don't like to admit but I am not settling into my job and really stressed out today. Which was observed by my colleagues. My anxiety at work is unfortunately overwhelming ATM. It maybe this time of the year as well. I find it really difficult.

I hope Toby is okay. I think I read that he wasn't well.

@Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51 @Snowie @FloatingFeather I went out earlier to get some dinner as I have no room to do anything presently in my kitchen ...was leaving the carpark and a stupid driver in front of me suddenly reversed into the front of me. There is no real damage but it has unsettled me. I had planned on doing the shopping after dinner but now will have to do it in the morning. I have given Toby a haircut and bath though so the evening has not been completely wasted. I do need to put everything back in the cupboards in the kitchen so will likely do that then head to bed. I only had a couple of hours sleep last night checking on Toby all the time so need the sleep. Some days I don't know how I actually get up and keep going 😔

@Former-Member Give yourself some time Hon. Not only have you begun a new job but emotions all around are usually heightened at this time of year. One step at a time.
