Far and Away

Thank you @Snowie . Had an appointment with my Psychologist. Went well. Went to an actual proper shop for the first time in over a year. Was only Big W. But felt strange to be out.

Hey @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie Been out to do the shopping I did not have the energy to do yesterday. Only needed a handful of things so it was quick. It is raining here today and I am quite enjoying the time inside with my fur babies. All those things I need to do or finish outside can wait - from now to next week I need to concentrate on getting things finished for work and getting enough rest to be able to handle going back. Listening to the rain is nice today - calming and restful.

@Zoe7 I love the sound of the rain. I have a tin roof and when it rains it makes music. I love the smell of rain after a long dry period. It has a distinct smell. I love walking in the rain, but only when I am well and fully rugged up. But best of all, I love sitting on the couch, a hot chocolate in hand, blanket over my knee and watching the rain fall outside, through a window. So relaxing. So calming.

Both my babies would love being at work with me and more so getting all the attention lol @Snowie Wouldn't life be easier if we could have them with us 24/7 - I know mine would be 👍

Both asleep now and I don't think I will be far off joining them. I wanted to try to stay up and doing things today but I am just too tired - tomorrow I will try to get out early, do the usual chemist run and then head into work to see what has been done and print some things for next week ...just gotta finish all those labels sometime today so I can print everything out at once.

You have just described the perfect day @utopia 😍 For me - laying on the couch with Tobes snuggled in and listening to the rain is so calming. My roof is colorbond so has a similar effect as tin - not quite as loud when the rain hits but similar. So peaceful and so relaxing.

@Zoe7 Yes my roof is colourbond. But every now and then I forget the word, so end up saying Tin. Gotta love brain damage from strokes, long term acute stress and mental illness. Lol.

I have been asleep all afternoon @utopia I am beyond tired and honestly do not know how I am going to go back to work. Maybe my GP was right in suggesting time off at the moment - she does know me well but I want the kids to be able to start the year well with everything else they need to deal with COVID restrictions etc. I am really struggling with me knee also - it actually seems to be getting worse not better - which is a major concern. @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie
