He is still miffed with me because I won’t let him outside @Zoe7. I had to put the bins out this morning and I am using the garage as an air-lock …. lol.

I have spent the last few hours at work. I could not edit or print anything but luckily our wonderful IT guy was there today and he spent ages fixing everything. Now I have to reconfigure some of the labels I did and will go back Friday to print everything out. The carpet still is not done but the school business manager has been on the phone again 'putting the wind up them'. We are expecting them in tomorrow to get it done but still may not mean I can get into the classroom until Monday as it will also need to be cleaned but I will go in Friday and see if I can work around everyone to at least get started 🤞

I started varnishing the art table and it looks terrible. There are still parts that the weather has got to that stand out. It is going to need to be re-sanded and I think I will have to paint it - so that is a job for another time now.

Time to feed the fur babies and have a rest myself ...just those few hours have exhausted me so how am I possibly going to get through a whole day at work????? Getting a bit stressed about it all ☹️

Can you develop a rhythm in your classroom that gives you a quiet time in the middle of the day when you and the kids can rest @Zoe7 ? Maybe use a neck-roll cushion at your desk and lead them through a relaxation exercise on their backs on the floor with their eyes closed ? You might all fall asleep 😏

@Zoe7 I hope by the time you go back to work that you have more of a routine happening and can get some good nights sleep. It is hard adjusting back to 'normal' life sometimes.

I use a guided meditation after lunch @Faith-and-Hope to get the kids settled back in after running around. Just need to make it until then myself lol

@Snowie Going to try to start those routines tonight - very tired so it should not be hard tonight to head to bed early.

I think I will be in bed early too. Hopefully I can sleep better tonight.

I hope we can both sleep better tonight then @Snowie Been trying to brush the wriggly one - but gave up. Have to brush Clover next - thankfully she is a bit less wriggly if I get her in the right mood lol
