Thanks @Faith-and-Hope, how's your adventure going? Is there a particular thread your putting updates? Jetlag takes about a week to settle I'm told, and I'm sure there's son Celtic wisdom to get over your post viral fatigue How's WH coping with his obcessive routines while travelling? A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

Thanks @Zoe7 Yes I'm trying not to worry about it.

The person who runs my fortnightly MH Social Lunch Group said "Get rid of that DES Provider, they're useless", "De-register yourself from that System".

Yes it would be far better for my Self-Esteem, for me to having nothing to do with (be Outside) that system.

Yet De-Registering & Cancelling Jobseeker has ramifications that you mentioned.

Like an extended 8 week or more Wait period, when re-applying.

Losing my Pension Concession Card, that I have only very recently had use of (been issued).

Thanks for your thoughts & wishes Re: procedures - There is pressumably a cause of my on-going blood loss (detected in tests), yet these Gastroscopy & Colonoscopy procedures may not find that cause.

Previous Colonoscopy & Endoscopy procedures, many years ago - never discovered the cause of pain & inflammation at that time.

The Iron tablets have not improved my physical energy at all - So I may end up having to have Iron infusions (Dr suggested as possibility) as well.

❤️🦋😴 @Zoe7 ……

👋❄️💜 @Snowie …… good to have you back ❣️

❤️ Hugs @Adge ….. following along and agree it sucks 😔

Re: Far and Away

That was my first thought too @Adge - getting rid of your DES provider but unless you can easily move to another one there are those issues you mentioned ...and right now you cannot afford to be without a backup for income. Is there another DES provider you could connect with - even if it is not an official 'registration' with them?

It is no doubt very worrying for you that you are having blood loss and there is no answer yet as to why. I hope they find out the reason very soon - we need our little finch buddy around ❤️

@Faith-and-Hope Had an early night and slept for a few hours then up and down for the remainder of the night. About to have another nap before I begin on some work outside again. Hope your day goes okay 💖

@Snowie Hope all that washing is dry and you can power through the ironing 👍

Re: Far and Away

I hope you get a nap in @Zoe7. My sleep was a bit short again, so I hope I get a nap in too …..

Morning everyone ….. 👋☕️💕

Re: Far and Away

No nap but I am feeling okay @Faith-and-Hope Some good news - my screw for my drill is there so am going to pick it up this afternoon and then go to Bunnings near there. It is not the one I usually go to but will be convenient so hope they have everything I need.

More good news (maybe) - just had a phone appointment with my pdoc and she has suggested I see a psych (not the one I had been seeing as it was too much) but one I can more check in with as I have been doing with her and then she can continue to see me every 3 months even though she is closing her private practice. She has suggested a psych that works in the same clinic so if things go 'pear shaped' (her words lol) then everyone can connect in the same place. I think this is a really good option but need to speak to my GP first and my pdoc is going to check with the psych she has recommended. This is my preferred option as it would still be a continuation of care with those I am comfortable with - see how it all pans out...

Hope you do get a nap in Hon - not good being short on sleep 😔

Re: Far and Away

🎉 for the screw @Zoe7 …..

And the psych arrangement sounds positive ❣️
Grandbaby day today, so not much chance of a nap …. lol ….. but there will be some rest time when they sleep.

Re: Far and Away

Awww grandbaby day @Faith-and-Hope That would give you a lift 💕

More good news - the beautiful person who ordered the screw for me did not charge. I insisted on paying but he said no. There are some good people in this world and I will certainly be spreading the word on him - anyone that needs any tools fixed I will be passing on his details 👍 Hopefully some business can repay him for his kindness towards me.

I have also been to Bunnings and got what I needed - checked some things off my list to use later as well. Going to rest for a while now though and maybe get that nap in ...then do some gardening and finish putting the new wheels on my art table.

Hi @Snowie I hope you feel restful after your time away, although, I do know it can be exhausting.

Re: Far and Away

Super busy with tourists where I live @Zoe7

I stay at home mostly. Having trouble getting vaccinated. Have to wait until next month. I miss going out for lunch.
