Far and Away

Having plenty of snuggle time with Toby and Clover (when she feels like it lol). She spends most of the day sleeping and chasing bugs but does follow Tobes and I around the house when I am doing something ...and loves being outside so 'helps' us there too. I could not imagine being away from them for over 2 weeks so I bet you are glad to see your little fluffball @Snowie 🐶😁

Just ran out of glue so will need a Bunnings trip tomorrow - what a shame 😮

Super glad to see her @Zoe7 She has not left my side since we got home. Having lots of cuddle time with her.

So sorry to hear that you have to go to Bunnings tomorrow 🤣🤣 I am sure you will be able to manage. Might be hard only coming out of there with just glue however. Normally when I go I end up buying things I don't really need but want!!

I do need more from Bunnings but I haven't been to the tip yet and will need the trailer for the rest. There is no rush though - not really ready to do what I want to so will just get the glue (I hope lol). I am going to try to do some more of the gardening tomorrow so I can put it on the trailer and take it away on Thursday - don't want to do 2 trips.

Think I will clean up the garage tonight, have a shower and watch the cricket for a while before bed. What are your plans tonight @Snowie ...washing, washing and more washing????

Washing certainly is on the top of things I will be doing tonight hon @Zoe7 That is the only problem with going away, I have to come back to reality sometime!

I have almost everything washed. Will finish it off tomorrow. It is meant to be sunny tomorrow so hopefully I can get it all dried, ironed and put away by tomorrow night.

Have to go to the supermarket tomorrow too to do a shop since we have no fresh food. Tonight was toast for tea 😉

After about 6 hrs of driving today we are all in need of an early night 😴😴

The ironing is the worst thing @Snowie My sister does not iron - I know she owns an iron but have never seen it lol I used to iron nearly everything but now only what needs it. Having a full household you would be snowed under - sending you quick ironing vibes...

Have cleaned up the garage already - didn't take long and can walk in there again 👍 I tend to dump everything inside the door just in case it rains but put everything back where it should be tonight.

Need to get dinner and might leave the shower until the morning now.

Shouldn't be too much ironing to do @Zoe7 Hopefully I can get it all done tomorrow and then it is done.

Time for me to head to bed, one tired Snowie here!!

Hi everyone.

Several more missed Traffic Shift Notifications for tomorrow & missed phone calls from their Ops Team, whilst lying down this avo - desperately trying to get my energy levels back up.

The phone calls would only have been to ask me to accept tomorrow’s (Wednesday) Shift - Which I cannot do, as I'm working in the Council Parks job Wednesdays Thursdays & Fridays.

I cannot work with their App Notification System, it keeps on catching me out – leaving me feeling (as) the bad one.

So this may likely mean that I will be Blacklisted soon & not offered any Traffic Shifts, in any case.

Which is what the DES job person said might likely happen.

My iron levels have not yet picked up, physical energy is still rock bottom.

I have a date & time now for my Gastroscopy & Colonoscopy - Which is on the 25th January (the day before Australia Day).

Don't worry about it @Adge If that is what happens then so be it. You have tried through different channels to explain what you are doing in terms of current work with no help from anyone, just grief - so if you are not given any more shifts then that is not your concern ...you didn't want to do that job anyway so I see it as a win. The DES will need to be put to work again - their issue 👍

I am really pleased you have a date for your procedures. I hope that it all goes okay and everything is clear. Having had the same procedures several times I know it is the night before that is the worst but once you are sent to fairyland you do not know anything. My biggest concern is the anaesthetic as I have had some adverse reactions before - but the anaesthetists have been wonderful ...and I have been asleep so did not know about it until afterwards anyway lol
