Its raining cats and dogs here .... still early, so I am hoping it will settle down enough for a walk by the time the sun rises. Otherwise I might have to drive down the road for coffee this morning .... lol ... priorities !!

At least my herb pots have had a good soaking overnight ..... 🌿🌱🌿🌱🌿🌱💕

Oh @Faith-and-Hope - that is just the start - be prepared to be bombarded with all things pink and glittery over the next couple of weeks lol

It is only supposed to be about 11 degrees here today so I don't think I will be outside much (at all).

You must have known the rain was coming - lucky herbs

Our state is so dry @Zoe7 it's almost not worth planting anything ahead of the Winter rains, nothing small at least .... it all dries out so quickly, and our soil is sandy so moisture drains away quickly unless you boost the soil content. While the pots are in potting mix, they too dry out quickly, and we have water restrictions on, which means the retic can't be run every day. Hopefully this will see them settled in well this week.

I'm really excited about my Forumland birthday week .... and sharing it wil birthday quads .... lol ....

I suspect it's going to be a bit of a non-event on my home front.

We actually had a slight frost here this morning @Faith-and-Hope - I am expecting a rather large power bill this quarter - heater pretty much been constantly on for weeks now

I have nearly finished the first party invitation for you and Shaz - should have it up later today after I check it with my fellow party planners

You can be assured that your birthday will be celebrated ALL WEEK (just to cover all bases!!) - and it will be far from a non-event LOL...

I'm feeling tired, but I know some of it is to do with the fact that I have sort of signed off on everyone else here now that we are in a medical radar. I feel as though I have passed the baton, even though the whole picture is not out there yet. I figure one thing will lead to another, and it will all start to surface, so my shift is over ....

I think that is part of arriving at the place where I can start putting my house in order again, and when WH pressed me about something yesterday, I told him that it is going to take a long time, because most of the sorting has to happen in my head first, and it's a creative process .... which takes time .....

One of his biggest issues is constantly feeling time-poor .... that time can't be wasted .... that things have to happen instantly and be driven to success .... well I'm not in his train ... and mines just gonna chug along so I can take in the scenery as I go .... ❣️

Talking myself into getting up, dressed, bed made, WH's washing on (I have agreed to that again now, but on my terms .... it will fit into my timetable, and I am throwing other family wash in with his ... lol ....surprise !!) and off to the coffee shop. I am feeling hungry now, so that is adding to my motivation ... 😊
